I Can Feel Your Anger

Friday, February 17, 2012

"I can feel your anger. I am defenseless. Take your weapon. Strike me down with all of your hatred and your journey towards the dark side will be complete."

Return of the Jedi

Sex offender defenders have never understood why their language is so offensive to victims of sex crimes, and shocking to those who have not previously been exposed to them. It isn't shocking to victims however - they have heard it all before - usually from the time they were first victimized.

We might wonder why they continue down this self-destructive path when they know - they've been told - how offensive they are. But there's really no need to wonder, we know what the problem is. At their deepest core they blame victims. They hate victims. That's it. Plain and simple. Despite their denials they are just a bunch of demented blame-gamers incapable of seeing past their own predicament and intent on finding someone else to blame for it.

When these blame-gamers are accused their response is always that they've been taken out of context or they say they didn't mean it the way we took it. But the truth is that they did mean it and they just didn't like being called out for it. The truth is that they are so accustomed to hearing this type of language which has become the norm for their groups that they don't even notice when one of them does it.

Take for example Debby Gwaltney AKA Lynn Gilmore, the new CEO of Sosen
"My hubby and I don't feel any animosity towards the victim"

Animosity towards the victim? How generous of her! And yet she does blame her using typical sex offender defender rhetoric.
"I figured, well, it's a low-level crime, after all, the girl was known in the community as being a sexually active teenage girl."
and
"I was told she had something of a reputation."
Despite Debby's claims that the only reason her husband's risk level was raised was because he committed his offense outside the home, the truth is that there were multiple reasons including that he refused treatment, admitted being sexually attracted to teenagers and blamed his 14 year old victim. "She was promiscuous", he said.

Debby claims to have been molested as a child and that her mother did the very best thing she could have done which was to put Debby in therapy and keep the abuser away from her. Does Debby know that her abuser didn't turn his attentions on someone else? Really?
Over two-thirds of offenders who reported committing incest also report they assaulted victims outside the family (English et al, 2000)
Debby says she feels re-victimized when someone says she was a victim of child sexual abuse. The only person I've seen talking about Debby's abuse is Debby. However, if the mere mention of what happened to her is such a trigger for her I wonder if she can even imagine the trigger for victims when they hear people like Debby - who aren't speaking on behalf of victims but on behalf of those who created victims - blame victims, minimize crimes and suggest that victims be treated like perpetrators?
"If offenders are made to undergo a lengthy process of assessments, evaluations and questioning, why aren't the victims?"

What exactly would you be doing a "lengthy evaluation" on victims for? To try to prove they aren't really victims? I do believe they get enough of that already. It is one thing to offer resources to victims to help them deal with their trauma, but Debby wants to treat them as criminals. She says victims should be forced to testify, apparently oblivious to the fact that they do if a case goes to trial. But most prosecutors will grant a plea bargain not only to save money but to prevent further trauma to the victim. Debby feels re-victimized when someone says she was a victim of child sexual abuse, and yet she has no clue regarding the difficulty of reliving an experience not only in front of the person who offended against you but also a room full of strangers - something many victims just don't have the strength to do.
"when you label someone a victim, then THAT is the thing that is victimizing them all over again"
Debby would have the offender walk free unless the system was willing to re-victimize the victim and she says all this in an article about re-victimizing victims! I think I don't believe Debby was a victim at all.

Debby Gwaltney goes on (this person who says doesn't feel like a victim) to report what victims want and what they would choose should they be given a choice.
"Counseling for both the abuser and the abused is truthfully all that is really necessary in most cases"
and
"If law enforcement considered the feelings of the victim there wouldn't be so much fear to report the abuse"
Some victims may not report because they are afraid of what may happen to their family but to apply that generally is an overly simplistic and short-sighted view. The truth is much more complex. Here is one explanation
"Sex offenders typically seek to make the victim feel as though he or she caused the offender to act inappropriately, and convince the child that they are the guilty party. As a result, children often have great difficulty sorting out who is responsible for the abuse and frequently blame themselves for what happened. In the end, fears of retribution and abandonment, and feelings of complicity, embarrassment, guilt, and shame all conspire to silence children and inhibit their disclosures of abuse" (Pipe & Goodman, 1991; Sauzier, 1989).
Not content with merely blaming victims or arrogantly stating what victims want and do not want, Debby Gwaltney also believes she knows how they should recover. Debby, like all defenders of child rapists believe that recovery is merely a choice.
"Just because someone was a victim once does not mean that they have to spend the rest of their lives as a victim"
Debby Gwaltney - Sosen CEO
"I choose to be a survivor, not a professional victim."
Linda Pehrson - former Sosen CEO
"I am not no snot-nosed, teary-eyed victim"
Mary Duval - former Sosen CEO
"Parents are passing their warped views on to their children. Children are taught that anything inappropriate that happens to them is the fault of someone else. "
Shirley Lowery - former Sosen CEO
"permanent victim-mode"
Derek Logue - convicted child molester
"there IS help out there, they don't have to stay this way"
Kevin Meier - convicted child molester
"Recovery is something that depends solely on the victim's desire to become a survivor"
Shana Rowan - Sosen
"It's a choice. to get on with life. One of the problems with having a victim mentality is that we tend to blame every thing that goes on in life to our being sexually abused."
Rod Wagner - convicted child molester
"those of us who've been victims have the POWER to choose just HOW and in what WAY it's going to affect us. We are doing no one, child or adult victim of sexual abuse, any favors when we pity them TOO much."
Jackie Sparling - wife of sexual predator

And yet, a recent report that studied victims over a period of 23 years made the same conclusion that everyone already knew. (Except those who want to minimize sexual crimes of course) That the effects of child sexual abuse can last a lifetime - and not because the person chooses that result.

The study was conducted by researchers from the University of Southern California and the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and tracked a group of girls who had been sexually abused ranging in age from 6 to 16 at the start of the study for the next 23 years. They found that compared to a control group of girls who had not been sexually abused these girls had altered brain chemicals among other things.
As children, they had higher levels of cortisol, the so-called "stress hormone," which is released in high levels during the body’s "fight or flight" response. But by about age 15, testing showed that cortisol levels were below normal, compared to the control group. Lower levels of cortisol have been linked to a decrease in the body’s ability to deal with stress, as well as problems with depression and obesity. Lower levels of the hormone have also been linked to post-traumatic stress disorder.

“The cortisol levels (of some study participants) wound up looking like Vietnam vets,” says study co-author Dr. Frank Putnam, professor of pediatrics and psychiatry at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. “That tells us they are in a chronic state of stress, and never feel safe.”

During the last assessment, when study participants were in their 20s, their cortisol levels remained lower than the control group, on average. “That tells us their stress response system is burned out,” says Putman, which could explain why some are doing so poorly in life.”

The long-term effects of the abuse “were absolutely profound,” says lead author and child psychologist Penelope Trickett, USC professor of Social Work.

The researchers hope that study data are used to develop more comprehensive treatment programs. “What is clear here is that abuse is not something that’s a one-time fix,” says Trickett.

Many victims have lifetime effects, some don't. Implying that having long term effects is somehow a failure on the victims part is downright repulsive. And as we can see from this study the effects have an actual physiological basis. Baby raper defenders claim that victims CHOOSE to stay "victims" How DARE they? How DARE Sosen and their Nambla affiliate RSOL?

They don't want victims to have a voice in the justice system. They want them to be invisible, unseen and unheard. Silent. To sex offenders and their apologists the effects victims suffer are nonexistent or the fault of the victim. They attack victims maliciously, they demean and mock them, they spew venomous hatred and anger towards them and then blame them for their own bad behavior. They repeatedly show their ugliness in all it's vile glory - and wonder why people despise them so. They behave like animals, it is no wonder people believe them to be - along with their skanky wives and mothers who exhibit the same thinking errors and revolting treatment of victims.

Do not expect a new and improved Sosen. This new CEO is just as bad as all the others. Just like Shirley Lowery, Linda Pehrson and Mary Duval - Debby Gwaltney is a blame gamer. She also tells lies.

But we'll get to that later.

"People forget that the impact of abuse does not stop when the abuse stops."

Cathy Kezelman - Adults Surviving Child Abuse

A Major Distinction

Wednesday, April 14, 2010

Mary Duval believes no one should be on a public registry. (Except for people who criticize her views of course) She believes the "truly dangerous" offenders should never be released from prison. She says this even though she has listed a "fact" on one of her propaganda brochures that long prison sentences make the community less safe.

I'm not sure which she actually believes - if either - but I'm going to go with the assumption that what she really thinks is that "dangerous sex offenders" should be incarcerated and never released again to the public. This would fit with her statements such as"He should never get out of prison" or "He should just be shot".

So if that's true which sex offenders does she think poses a danger to the community? She defined it:
  1. Repeat Sex Offenders
  2. Those whose victims are strangers
  3. Someone who uses violence
Mary Duval has further defined a repeat sex offender as someone who has been convicted of a sex crime. So according to her statements a man who is caught for the first time and who has multiple victims and was molesting children for years and years and years before being detected would be a first time offender and the "repeat offender" factor wouldn't apply to him and he would therefore not be dangerous.

If he groomed children over a long period of time, if he plied them with gifts and attention then maintained their compliance with the abuse through the use of psychological manipulation, that would also not be a dangerous person since he didn't use a gun or knife or fists to secure their cooperation. A man like that would not be considered dangerous according to Mary Duval.

If the person obtained his victims by dating or marrying a woman with children, or by playing ball with kids in the neighborhood, or volunteering as a Little League coach or being a Boy Scout leader, a Big Brother, a Church volunteer - or Church leader for that matter - that person wouldn't be a perpetrator against strangers and therefore would not be dangerous according to Mary Duval. Someone like Harold Spurling for example.

Mary Duval repeats that we need to start distinguishing between the "violent" and the "non-violent". What would she consider Harold Spurling? He didn't meet any of her criteria.

Harold Spurling who along with his partner molested a three month old baby and multiple children in their community. Some of their victims were abused for years. Harold Spurling who had the baby in his apartment that day because he had volunteered to babysit her. Harold Spurling who was known to play ball with the neighborhood kids. Harold Spurling who had one of the largest collections of child pornography in the history of Connecticut - much of it produced by himself. Harold Spurling who put my pedo-predator-detector into overdrive with his poem:
Little boy,
Pull me inside
The sweet dream that is you.
Let me hold you;
Let me breathe you in.
You justify my beating heart.
With you, the world and its endless troubles
Ceases to exist ...
Paradise doesn't hold a candle
To you.
Sweet expression of perfection;
Infantile bliss.
You run through my veins,
My lifeblood.
Harold Spurling does not fit Mary Duval's definition of "truly dangerous".

Harold Spurling was not a repeat offender as Mary Duval defines it. Harold Spurling did not use physical violence to rape children, he groomed them. Harold Spurling did not sexually assault strangers. And like most people who groom and molest children, one day he will get out of prison. I repeat: One day he will get out of prison. Mary Duval wants to insure that Harold Spurling's "right" to live across from that elementary school is protected. Mary Duval wants to insure that Harold Spurling's "right" to loiter around the playground is protected. Mary Duval wants to deny you the right to know that someone like Harold Spurling has moved into your neighborhood or invited you over for tea. What do you think about that?

On the flip-side of all this I wonder what Mary Duval thinks of Donna Kistler? As a Sosen activist Donna's primary argument was that most children are sexually abused by someone they know and .... it's always the parents fault. She says stranger crimes are rare. This was her basic argument for why the registry should be abolished. Take a look:
"The problem is, MOST child sex crimes or child abuse is caused by someone the child knows and trusts such as a family member. It is also mostly due to parental neglect. IF a child is NOT left alone or unattended, such as walking to and from school or the park then they could not and would not be abducted."
--Donna Kistler
We know that most young children do know their abuser in some way but I fail to see how that fits into Donna's philosophy. I found it quite interesting that while Donna was screaming "there's no stranger crimes" as her Pillar Number One she forgot about her own husband.

You see Peter broke into a woman's home in the middle of the night and raped her in her bed. She was a stranger. On two other occasions he broke into the homes of other women and attempted to rape them. They were strangers as well. Peter went to prison for 15 years, but like all violent rapists he got out one day.

Less than one year after his release he was caught trying to lure a 9 year old child into his car outside an elementary school. She was also a stranger.

So what do we have? Peter Kistler, a repeat sex offender, a violent sex offender and someone who had at least four stranger victims that we're aware of. What do you believe Mary Duval thinks of Peter Kistler? I wonder if Mary Duval would tell Donna that she believes Peter is dangerous and should never get out of prison.

A politician once said:
We're after violent sex offenders who rape, commit sexual battery, murder, aggravated murder, kidnapping with a sexual motivation and prey on our children. Those are the kind of offenders we're after.
Ken Lanning replied:
What we have to understand is that the major distinction between the sexual victimization of adults and the sexual victimization of children is one simple word: consent.

With adults in order for it to be a sex crime you have to have lack of consent and violence. You can have sexual criminals, sexual assault of children, without there being any violence.

And because an offender happens to groom and manipulate and seduce a child who cooperates in their victimization, those individuals, in my opinion, can be very dangerous. They are the most persistent and prolific of all known child molesters.

And to simply exclude individuals who happen to groom and seduce adolescent children doesn't make any sense to me.

Remember Amy

Tuesday, October 27, 2009

We wrote recently about Jim Freeman - the proud pedophile sex offender activist - who was ordered to pay restitution to "Amy" in the sum of $3,263,758. Unfortunately she'll only receive about forty thousand from his retirement fund. He won't be needing it where he'll be spending the rest of his life after all.

Amy is fighting back. She's filed for restitution against at least 20 other people including Remsen McGinnis Benedict, AKA Wolfman and Raymond Highsmith a former Shriners leader. Hopefully more victims will follow in her footsteps to demand true justice and restitution. Amy begins her story: "My uncle started to abuse me when I was only 4 years old."
The Misty series is one of the most popular and readily available kiddie porn videos on the Internet. It's considered a collector's item among pedophiles. Downloading it is a felony. Officials have identified 750 individuals who possess the Misty series, but they believe tens of thousands of copies are out there.
Today, she suffers from severe post-traumatic stress disorder. Victims of child sexual abuse are more resistant to treatment than victims of other types of PTSD.
The next time you see someone refer to child pornography as a "thought crime" stop for a moment and remember Amy and all the children whose experiences echo hers. The next time you hear a dumb duck say that child pornography may "prevent" a pedophile from molesting a child, remember Amy. Take a moment and read her Victim Impact statement. Keep her story in mind when you hear a victim-bashing dumb duck say "victims can get help and go on with their lives but the offenders life is destroyed forever by these laws".
I am horrified by the thought that other children will probably be abused because of my pictures. Will someone show my pictures to other kids, like my uncle did to me, then tell them what to do? Will they see me and think it's okay for them to do the same thing? Will some sick person see my picture and then get the idea to do the same thing to another little girl? These thoughts make me sad and scared.
I am always scared that people can look at me and tell that I am a victim of sex abuse because my abuse is a public fact. I am worried that when my friends are on the internet they are going to come across my pictures and it fills me with shame and embarrassment.
Every day of my life I live in constant fear that someone will see my pictures and recognize me and that I will be humiliated all over again. It hurts me to know someone is looking at them -- at me -- when I was just a little girl being abused for the camera. I did not choose to be there, but now I am there forever in pictures that people are using to do sick things.
I am being exploited and used every day and every night somewhere in the world by someone. How can I ever get over this when the crime that is happening to me will never end? How can I get over this when the shameful abuse I suffered is out there forever and being enjoyed by sick people?
Please think about me and think about my life when you sentence this person to prison. Why should this person, who is continuing my abuse, be free when I am not free?

To Catch a Big Mouth

Friday, July 24, 2009

Benjamin Radford is a self-proclaimed "critical thinker", "research journalist", editor of The Skeptical Enquirer and author of a couple of very strange books and articles. I say strange because in Media Mythmakers he attempts to prove

"the ways in which deception is used in various media to influence decision making and public policy"

While I know for a fact that media is sometimes deceptive I know something else as well, and that is the fact that Benjamin Radford is committing the same types of errors he's accusing the mainstream media of.

Radford's specialty is disproving things that cannot be disproven by using his so-called "critical thinking skills". The problem is: he forgot to use them.

Radford recently appeared on Americans Reality Check to promote his book and spread his propaganda. He believes the American people are lazy and incapable of thinking things through on their own. I find it strange that he believes news journalists influence the way people think while claiming they aren't doing their jobs if they don't tell them what to think.

Listen:

"Should you take aspirin daily to ward off a heart attack? Aspirin makers say yes. Others say that there isn't enough evidence that it's effective. Who do you believe? Presumably the journalist presenting a story will tell you-unless he or she is bound by agnostic objectivity, in which case you'll get both sides and a shrug."
I suppose I'm incapable of "thinking critically" because I fail to see why anyone would expect a journalist to analyze conflicting medical information and then tell people what the correct answer is....when he can't possibly know what the correct answer is. All he can really do is state his opinion and influence people - whether or not he's right.

Radford claims that since he's a "research journalist" he thoroughly researched his topic aware that what he wrote would be controversial. So I'm a little confused here as to how he came up with his conclusion that recidivism for sex offenders is very low. For a critical thinker he made the same mistake as so many pedophile activists do - taking the DOJ recidivism report at face value and failing to question or analyze the results.

Listen to Karl Hanson explain that 30 to 40% of registered sex offenders are caught with a new sex offense within 20 years:

Here Sarah Tofte of the Human Rights Watch explains how surprised she was to find that 25% of sex offenders recidivate:

And Mary and Kevin's own guest Dr. Fox - who they made sure to inform the audience was "an expert" in his field explains that the recidivism rate is approximately 22% over 15 years. Listen:

And here Dr. Fox explains the reason why the recidivism rate is actually higher than 22%:

Radford also holds tight to his belief that Megan's Law is ineffective. He bases this on the fact that he didn't find anything that said it was, and on his misinformed belief that the very premise of the law was faulty. He believes that Megan's family KNEW about the violent rapist living on their street, and yet none of the neighbors knew. It appears he didn't do his research. Nor did he read the Minnesota study regarding the effectiveness of Megan's Law (community notification). Which said:
"community notification reduced the risk of time to rearrest by 84 percent, reconviction by 89 percent, and reincarceration by 93 percent"
In addition to proliferating their misinterpretation of David Finkelhor's Internet Predator report, just like Cheryl Griffiths - he took this
"The publicity about online “predators” who prey on naive children using trickery and violence is largely inaccurate.
Most online sex offenders are adults who target teens and seduce victims into sexual relationships. They take time to develop the trust and confidence of victims, so that the youth see these relationships as romances or sexual adventures.

The youth most vulnerable to online sex offenders have histories of sexual or physical abuse, family problems, and tendencies to take risks both on- and offline."
to mean that either internet predators don't exist or that it's somehow acceptable to exploit minors - as long as you seduce them, groom them and aren't physically violent I suppose.

Benji dazzled the sex offenders with amazing feats of distorted critical thinking and factoid production. For example he believes that the sex offender registry does nothing to protect children, he bases this primarily on two things. One being the fact that most offenders are known to their victims and Two being the myth that sex offenders don't re-offend.

However, he fails to realize that a sex offender registry was never about 'strangers'. It is the very fact that offenders ARE known to their victims which makes the registry such a valuable tool. Nobody could memorize every person on the registry to be able to know them if they saw them on the street, however, they can absolutely know NOT to bring these monsters into their home.

Radford believes that those on the registry were convicted of minor crimes - he knows this for a fact because --- people who commit bad crimes go to prison for long periods of time. Listen:

How does that compare to Michael Jacques who raped a 13 year old girl, then an 18 year old girl, negotiated a plea deal - had the first rape expunged from his record, served a miniscule sentence and convinced a judge to let him off supervision several years early because he was a "probation success story" - even though he was sexually assaulting a child at the time........and continued to for the next 5 years. Is Jacques an exception?

Or how about John Couey? Another registered sex offender who went on to kidnap a child from her bed then rape her repeatedly for days and then bury her alive. Is he an exception?

Joseph Duncan raped a 9 year old boy at gunpoint when he was only 15 years old and stated that he had committed 13 rapes by the time he was 16. He was sentenced as a juvenile and went on a few years later to do the same to other kids. This time he served 14 years of a 20 year sentence, got out and immediately molested a 6 year old boy. The judge let him out on bail. And we all know what happened then, don't we? He's responsible for the deaths of at least 7 people. Is Duncan an exception? He said he wasn't in his sex offender propaganda he wrote. The propaganda that mirrors exactly the rhetoric of the current sex offender activist groups. In fact, he wrote
The truth is that I am not an exception, I am the rule! Most sex offenders are just like me
What about Jim Freeman, the one-time leader of the largest pro-sex offender activist group on the internet. Was he an exception? Or Jon Schillaci, or Johnny Ray Lee, how about Corey Deen Saunders who raped a 6 year old in the library after a judge refused to civilly commit him? Are they exceptions?

Sex offender activists who talk out both sides of their mouth claim men like this should have never been released in the first place. They say this while demanding an end to civil confinement and long prison sentences. So how are these people exceptional to them? Because they know NOW what they were capable of? When do you think they reached that conclusion? Certainly not before they created more victims.

Sex offender coddlers frequently demand that we realize how easy it is to end up being labeled a sex offender. They say things like "It could happen to anybody". The truth is entirely different of course. You don't sexually assault someone, groom and molest a child, or join the "greatest group of pedos" by accident. It is not something that "happens to you". But we do know that people are sexually offended against every single day, those are the people that something "happened to", we can see obviously, how easy it is to be sexually assaulted or have your child abused by a freak.

"Is this a serious problem? I mean, come on, the average child is far more likely to be killed in a car accident on the freeway than to be molested by some sex offender, so put these things in perspective."
Perspective?
In 2007 there were 41,259 traffic fatalities - this includes adults and children.

Every 13 minutes someone dies in a car accident.

In 2007 there were 248,000 victims of rape, attempted rape or sexual assault. (This figure DOES NOT include victims 12 years old and younger)

34% of all victims of sexual assault reported to law enforcement were under the age of 12.

Every 2 minutes someone in the United States is sexually assaulted.....not including children.
Now besides the obvious things wrong with his statements, I would strongly suggest that Mr. Radford is out of his league. Police Chiefs and Supreme Court Justices do not make the law, they never have and they never will as long as America's system of government continues. There are three branches of government, the executive branch, the legislative branch and the judicial branch. They function within a system of checks and balances. The primary function of the Supreme Court is not to analyze studies and reports and then make a determination of which they believe. Their function is to interpret the constitution despite what this critical thinking idiot believes. How embarrassing.

Mr Radford needs to go back to disproving Big Foot, or ghosts and ghoulies and other pretend monsters because he very successfully stuck a big foot in a very big mouth. There are over 40 millions survivors of very real monsters in America today. The monsters DO exist, survivors have lived to tell about it and we applaud their strength and courage for speaking up....despite the constant barrage of blaming, mocking and denial from such shallow thinking fools as Benjamin Radford.

"I want to be regarded as low risk"

Wednesday, July 01, 2009

Gary Anderson or "Gareth" sure does get around. He changed his name legally from Simeon Hope and uses the nicks CapNemo, KidsPower, and luv_lauren99 (among others)

Gary is a pedophile. He likes little girls and he likes little boys too. He says his "age of attraction" is 8 or 9, and 7-12 for boys.

Of course Gary is also a convicted sex offender. A repeat sex offender.

Gary was a teacher working with children when he was convicted in 2000 for distributing child pornography and possession of greater than 51,000 images. After serving only 18 months in prison he joined pedophile groups and returned triumphantly to his previous activities. But, less than two years after his release he was convicted AGAIN for the same thing.
"Yesterday, he was jailed for 18 months and banned from ever working with children or keeping a computer with Internet access. He was also ordered to serve an extended licence, once released, of four-and-a-half years, to be controlled by the probation service and receive treatment."
Did he keep a computer? Or was he using someone elses? Just as soon he got out there he was again posting all over pedophile message boards. BoyChat, GirlChat, BoyMoment and of course he joined Sosen too.

He talked about his treatment program in very mocking terms. Not only did he not need therapy dammit! But he wasn't going to cooperate with it either.
"My strategy is to tell these lovely, caring people what they like to hear. My real thoughts I keep to myself and for here. I want to be regarded as low risk, so that I can lead a more normal life."
"My feeling about this kind of therapy is that it just puts huge powers into the hands of prejudiced, ignorant fools. Instead of someone being given a limited punishment and then allowed to restart their life, we must wait until they say we are ready. That can be years or never."
Sex Offender Treatment is really gonna help this guy isn't it? While he was in prison he wrote letters to John Hodgson aka taf-kat who roams around the net stealing photos of peoples children from their photo albums for masturbation purposes and just another GirlChat pervert multi-convicted child porn freak who kept the twittering pedophiles apprised of their missing in action hero by posting Gary's letters on GirlChat. Gary wrote:
"I am on licence until December 2008 (yes, '08). The judge laid into me at my sentencing, as these morons do, and said that he expected that I will never again be allowed access to the Net. Well..."
Gary claimed the women in his life all knew what he was and what he did:
"I've had two partners who knew all about my attraction to children (mainly 7-12yo). The first was my wife, who gradually became aware over years as I told her more. She was generally accepting, even when she knew I was downloading CP, but left me instantly when I was arrested for that.

Teh second is my current partner. She doesn't like it, but knew about it from the start, as she visited me in prison. She just thinks men are all pervs anyway."
In addition to communicating with pedophile message boards while still in prison Gary has been on those pedo boards and sex offender boards any time he wasn't in prison. In fact, he's still an active member and had his own comments edited by GirlChat when requesting links to "child modeling photos" just a few months ago. But Gary didn't just have child pornography, distribute child pornography and rant and rave about legalizing child pornography (what the sex offender advocacy groups refer to as a "victimless crime") and legalized adult/child sex (no age of consent laws). NO. He wrote stories too. Graphic stories. The kind of stories Ricky's Mom says helps prevent child sexual abuse.
"My intention from the outset was to at least attempt to fuck her, though I knew it wouldn't be easy with a child so young. But it was the day after her seventh birthday and I wanted her to experience it."
"I wondered what her dad would think if he saw us now: his naked seven-year-old daughter sitting by his couch with her vulva reddened and wet with fucking, and her loving partner, a grown man five times her age sat next to her"
I know what you're thinking but that's not graphic. I left the graphic parts out.

Gary wrote:
"It's an excellent article, and a brave stand to take these days. However, it is not a defence of childloving, merely a defence of our legal rights. Commendable, but there is much further to go. I don't just want my legal rights to defend myself, I want my sexuality made legal."
Yes of course. That's what all childhaters want. From BoyChat and GirlChat to the groups who want the same thing but call it something else like Reform Sex Offender Laws Campaign and Sosen. Abolish age of consent laws.... that will solve the problem of child sexual abuse......it would no longer be illegal to groom, manipulate and molest children. And after all, "the government has no right to interfere."

Does it?

"From Little Things, Big Things Grow"

"From Little Things, Big Things Grow"

said Your Dishonor Judge Ian Dearden. You may have heard of this folk musician, civil libertarian scumbag who is now a District Judge in Queensland.

Your Dishonor had been an executive member of the Queensland Council for Civil Liberties - an Australian version of the ACLU - for 20 years and the president for 11, but when he was appointed to this position he became a victim and felt abused by "redneck letter writers" who didn't feel it was appropriate for a man who didn't believe in prison to be in a position of administering justice. He replied:

“Why should anybody be abused for advocating freedom?”

Yes, that's what the Judge said. Of course he also said:
"there was certainly a need to regulate human conduct, a need on occasions for jail time and that the only debate was how much regulation and what penalties were required"
Let's look at how he thinks human conduct should be "regulated"
A Queensland father who bashed a man caught molesting his 10-year-old son is facing a prison sentence, while the boy's attacker walks free.

Shane Thomas Davidson was at the child's house at Eagleby in June last year to watch the State of Origin match with the boy's father and a few other people. After the game, Davidson went into the boy's bedroom and began massaging the child's penis under his clothes. When the boy woke up, Davidson asked the boy to show him his penis and offered to do the same. The child refused and went to tell his father what happened. The man then attacked Davidson, dragging him outside, throwing him on to a concrete path where he struck his head and repeatedly kicking him. Davidson later underwent extensive facial surgery in the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Your Dishonor Judge Ian Dearden said:

"There is no place in our community for a vigilante approach"
Shane Thomas Davidson was spared jail despite pleading guilty to molesting the boy on State Of Origin night last year. Judge Ian Dearden told Beenleigh District Court the sentence was reduced because the young victim's father had wrongly taken action into his own hands and badly beaten Davidson.

In handing down his sentence on Monday, Justice Dearden said adult offenders who committed sex offences against children must serve actual jail time – unless exceptional circumstances were found to exist.

"This is one of those rare and exceptional cases," he said. "When an individual takes the matter of punishment into their own hands, the offence committed by the person may be far, far more serious and, therefore, have far more serious consequences then the original offence."
The boy's father is facing life in prison. And the pedophile himself? He said
he regretted what he had done but didn't think it was something he should go to jail for.

"As far as these sorts of offences go, it's pretty minor."
Your Dishonor agreed with the child molester that what he had done was minor. Your Dishonor didn't feel this child deserved justice. This child who is now without the father who was protecting him......in his own home. But this isn't the first time Your Dishonor has behaved so shamelessly and with such reckless disregard
A Brisbane man Brett Ashley Connor appeared before Judge Dearden charged with with possessing 90 child porn images. The judge sentenced Connor to nine months' jail wholly suspended because of mitigating factors including Connor's co-operation with authorities and the lack of apparent distribution of the images.

Brothers Shammi and Shamal Chand escaped jail in Dearden's court after pleading guilty to savagely bashing an invalid pensioner with a baseball bat. Handing both brothers wholly suspended jail sentences, Judge Dearden said he took into account their own misery following the death of their father, the difficulties Shammi Chand faced supporting his extended family and Shamal Chand's battle with drugs and mental illness.
And for another sexual abuse case, a teacher who also filmed his abuse of a student then threatened to "hurt her" if she told:
A Former north Queensland high school teacher has been jailed after a court overturned his suspended sentence for molesting a female student.

Steven Peter Quick, 29, of Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast, originally avoided jail when Brisbane District Court Judge Ian Dearden sentenced him to a wholly suspended 18-month jail term and 12-month intensive correction order.

Justice de Jersey found that Judge Dearden didn't take enough notice of the damage done to the victim, that he incorrectly regarded as relevant that she gave “some level of consent”, and that he did not give enough weight to Quick's threats to harm the girl.

The chief justice also found that Quick's remorse was only self-pitying and he lacked true insight into the damage he had done.
There are those paying attention to this type of behavior however. After the most recent ruling this shameful judge thought he'd get away with:
The case has sparked widespread community outrage and child safety campaigner Hetty Johnston described Davidson's sentence as "woefully wrong".

And yesterday Attorney-General Cameron Dick called for a transcript of the judge's sentencing remarks to determine whether the state should appeal. He has 28 days from the June 15 date of sentencing to lodge an appeal.

Meanwhile, the Liberal National Party's deputy leader Lawrence Springborg said the case highlighted the need for Queensland's sentencing laws to be overhauled "to reflect community standards".
Your Dishonor Judge Ian Dearden says
"There is no place in our community for a vigilante approach"
Society says "There is no place in our community for child molesters or their enabling judges"

The Dishonorable Judge Dearden - the folk musician feels a close affinity to these lyrics
Justice is a constant struggle
I’m struggling on
We are all struggling on.
But I don't believe he even knows what justice is. He once titled a speech "From Little Things, Big Things Grow" - I don't think it should be a struggle for him to know how the "little decisions" he makes today feed those who use and abuse children for sexual gratification. This Judge is a part of that cycle of abuse.

Please let your voice be heard and speak loudly about this horrendous injustice and demand that he be removed from a position which he has and continues to abuse in his personal mission of freedom for criminals. Demand he be removed. Demand justice for this boy.

Please write or phone the Beenleigh District Court at this address and in demanding justice let it be known that there is no place in any community for those who sexually abuse children or enable those who do.

Standing up for what you believe in

Thursday, June 18, 2009

I am harmless. I can promise you that.
Emovocals faces up to life in prison after he was arrested and charged Wednesday on accusations of molesting a 10-year-old boy whose Grand Isle County family said they hired him over the Internet as a nanny.
Is anyone really surprised? Another member of GirlChat and BoyChat preying on children, putting himself in a position to be in close contact with children, pretending to just "love children why he'd never hurt children" as the typical filthy pedophile always does.

We first wrote about Douglas Shepherd

aka Donald Shepherd aka Emovocals, JonnyXO, Philosophy and Kyva when we discovered this pedophile advertising to be a nanny online in 2007 Searching for a Nanny? Read This

"Steve Lampert, CEO of eNannySource.com, said company records list no one with the suspect’s given name, but they do contain two aliases Vermont police say Shepherd used.

An account under one alias, Parker Wilder, was closed in August 2008 after a family complained about him; a listing for a Donald Shepherd, the name law enforcement says the boy used in referring to his nanny, had been shut down in December 2006, also following a complaint"
So this is to be expected:
Shepherd admitted the inappropriate activity included touching, oral sex and the taking of explicit photographs. According to police, Shepherd said he initially felt like a father figure for the boy but later the "dynamic changed and turned into, you know, I see him as a lover."
Shepherd had nothing to say as he left the Grand Isle Courthouse charged with a list of sex crimes, including aggravated sexual assault on a child. Investigators say that Shepherd will likely face child porn charges. That part of the investigation is just beginning but it's expected to be huge, with thousands of images found on Shepherd's electronic equipment, including photos of the victim in this case.
Shepherd told law enforcement he had had worked with children in California, Florida, Michigan, and at summer camps for boys in Texas and New York. He had also been approved to be a substitute teacher in Grand Isle County. Police are concerned that there could be other victims out there.
People who think that pedophiles chatting amongst each other in online pedo groups are "just chatting and gaining support" from each other need to think twice. That isn't what they are doing at all. They are trying to gain validation so they don't have to face what they really are. They're feeding each others demented desires for children which DOES encourage them to act out.

They say they're exercising free speech, but the Anti's say they are endangering children by messing with the distorted minds of fellow pedophiles, feeding them "girl moments" and "boy moments" and glorifying child sexual abuse.

They are participating in hate speech.

Their targets: children.
"People are being jailed just for being attracted to children. Isn't that what you tell me when I would give out information about myself on this board? Hell, now I am on some ass hole's blog. My pictures and all. That is what happens though when you stand up for something you believe in. I risk the chance everyday of being found out and investgated. How do you think that makes me feel?

I am not asking you to look past the things I have done, or except my lies. I am only asking you to stop your madness. I am harmless. I can promise you that. I just need people to talk to. I hope that some of this will sink in, but I doubt it."

Jim Freeman - the ghost in the machine

Tuesday, April 28, 2009

Jim Freeman was sentenced to life in prison today. Jim was the former executive director of the largest sex offender advocacy group on the web.

Jim Freeman once said:

"All I can say is that they are worth the download. My thanks to you and all the others that together make this the greatest group of pedos ever to gather in one place."

All the members of SoHopeful looked up to Jim. They loved his propaganda.

He indoctrinated them into the use of pedospeak and pedo rhetoric......and they didn't even realize it. Isn't that cool?

Who was watching out for the members of his activist group to protect them from this "great pedo"? Who was keeping an eye on Jim? In January he was found guilty of
participating in an illegal organization that used Internet newsgroups - large file-sharing networks where text, software, pictures and videos can be traded and shared - to traffic in illegal images and videos depicting prepubescent children, including toddlers, engaged in various sexual and sadistic acts

Today he was sentenced to life in prison for his role in an international child pornography ring. I wonder if he had been teaching the members of SoHopeful what the new brand of sex offender activist teaches them? That child pornography is A) a victimless crime and B) produced by the government. I bet he was.
In all, more than 400,000 pictures, video files and other images showing children engaged in sexual behavior were produced, advertised, traded and distributed globally in the online pornography ring, according to U.S. and international authorities. The sting, which started in Australia, also netted accused pornographers in England, Canada and Germany.

Some victims were as young as 5 years old. Others were preyed upon for innocent characteristics such as wearing their hair in pigtails

More than 40 children have been rescued
James Freeman of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., was sentenced to life in prison today. We applaud that decision.
The network traded images depicting the violent sexual abuse of children globally, including having children sexually abused live and on demand for the benefit of its members

The Darkness Within

Sunday, April 26, 2009

Alia Loren Jacobson
aka
Poisontears

Her website describes her this way:

"As the recently crowned Princess of the Night, Alia is intrigued by beauty found within the macabre, and intends to show a generation of gothlings just how intensely exquisite the darkness within the soul can be."

What's the first thing people think when they see her I wonder.

Take that thought, whatever it might be and add the fact that she's a pedophile and attracted to prepubescent little girls. And sometimes boys. Never adults.

Add to that her interest in necrophilia. The interest she says she tries to keep suppressed.

Ready? Now add the fact that unlike the other pedophiles she doesn't even try to disguise herself as a "girl lover" - No she says it straight out -
"i'm not even sure if i can truly consider myself to be a girllover--after all, most of my fantasies are purely physical and include hurting little girls. there is no way that can be considered girllove."
Does this concern you?

When Alia was in college she confessed her desires to a friend. This friend reported Alia and she was forced to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. Alia's parents told her not to "tell too much" and shortly Alia returned to GirlChat to say she had been deemed "not dangerous to children" but admitted that they don't really know the full extent of her deranged views.

I'd like to consider for a moment what WE - we meaning people who don't want to have sex with children - we who don't want to make children scream - would do, what would we say to someone like this? Someone who wasn't a stranger but a long-time member of the group? What if they said this to you
"Sometimes when i'm walking and i see someone boy or girl who i think is beautiful the first thing that comes through my mind is how erotic it would be to hurt them....."
So? What would you say? What would you do? Let's look at what GirlChat members said to her. She's been there for EIGHT years, I'd be guessing that her desire isn't going away anytime soon wouldn't you? This is how the "Girl lovers" aka child haters responded when Alia said:
What am I? Where should I go? Help me!

I don’t know how to transfer my desire to strangle into a desire to cuddle
T3hl33tg33k:
You can talk to me

I think we might have similar feelings
Minstrel:
I strongly advise against 'professional help' as being completely useless for any problems you might have. If you tell a shrink you're attracted to girls, you're already doomed, even without mentioning violent fantasies. I don't see the point in throwing your life away

So, where should you go? I suggest Girl Chat Chat.
Dissident:
fantasies are just a way to let off steam for your inner frustrations. However, I don't think it's particularly healthy to NEVER think about cuddling and gentle imagery and to ALWAYS think about abusive behavior in your fantasies. A healthy dosage of both is better than just one type of fantasizing exclusively, IMO

You seem like a pleasant enough person, Poison
BB:
What I would guess is that you've never actually been able to have a close relationship with a LG. If you did, I strongly suspect that you would find the comfort you're seeking in the warm, soft, comforting arms of a LG. If you had the opportunity to really be with a girl, you would find that violence is the furthest thing from your mind.
T3hl33tg33k:
Wait a minute, you have a vagina!
Rape away, then! People will be thanking you for it.
Blue Heaven:
Accept the problem and let it go, but don't encourage it, and don't deny it. Just let it be. If you're a good person otherwise, then hold true to that.
Razor1911:
i refuse to blame sex offenders that actually kidnap a child and do something about it

Whatever happens is the pedophobes' fault.

For example, the person that technically did it should receive one year in prison while the pedophobic therapists and their accomplices in society should be slowly beaten to death. They are child killers, pulling the strings from a good distance while we erreneously focus, with a perspective that is far too small, on the single person that has his strings pulled.
BB:
Yes, the Antis are responsible for creating the monsters that they hate, but those monsters still have free will.

I will concede, however, that if all the Antis died, there be virtually no crimes against children anymore.
LGSoul:
As long as you seperate fantasy from reality and maintain your self-control you should have no problem. Or maybe if you feel its best just stay away from little girls. Or (if you live in the USA) you could masturbate to violent lolicon. To sexually relieve yourself.
THAT is the truth about GirlChat. Their entire existence is nothing more than denial, rationalizations and LIES. They lie to society, they lie to the Anti's, they lie to each other and they lie to themselves. They HAVE to, the truth might make them scream.

Knowing how they fed into the disturbed and demented mind of Alia Jacobson, I wonder what they would say if she did what Melissa Huckaby did? I don't think that is too far-fetched of a question to ask, especially when they've been wondering if Melissa could possibly be a member of one of their pedo-sites. Hopefully we'll never have to discover that answer considering they won't discuss their own members who commit crimes and go to prison for life. However, we CAN see what they had to say about the woman accused of sexually assaulting and murdering Sandra Cantu.

Trucker refers to Melissa Huckaby:
I feel more pity for her than sweet little Sandra; at least Sandra's in LG heaven while the rest of the world has to fight through this hellish life.

I hope the antis are damn skippy over the atmosphere they created. If there was more understanding than hating maybe Sandra would still be alive.
Iron Marxist:
If she was a member of the MAA community then she has even less of an excuse for doing what she did because that would mean that she felt love for little girls. Maybe she was constantly told all her life that she was an evil monster who was destined to hurt kids and she finally broke under the pressure.

But when any one of us allows society to break us and does something stupid and savagely cruel, not only does an innocent child and her family suffer but so does the entire MAA community. I just hope that when Sandra's Law is passed we don't end up losing forums like GC, because these forums help to prevent any of us from acting out in negative ways.
MimzyBorogrove:
You really want to know who killed Sandra Cantu? I'll tell you. It was you, I, and everyone else who has ever turned an unseeing eye or an uncaring heart to another's plight (or our own, for that matter.) Anyone who has taken profit from another's suffering, whether direct or not. Those among us who watch the darkness descending, who cry out for the dying of the light, yet, can't seem to break out of our molds enough to say "Enough is enough." We did it. We killed that little girl, as surely as if we had been standing there. And only by taking responsibility for all of this, can we ever hope to change ANY of it.
Trucker:
I don't care if I get heat for this but I can't stand how the U.S. just coddles and overprotects children just to keep them "innocent."

So a suspect in Sandra Cantu's murder has been caught. Notice how quickly the police got someone, not because a person was murdered, but because a "sweet, innocent little girl" was murdered. Is the concept of innocence worth the price of depriving possibly innocent people of freedom and riling paranoia?

Are children so helpless and ignorant that they must be given special attention whenever one gets killed every two years?

Until this bogus "innocence" stigma is done away with and children are seen as equals with adults, we will never be one unified people.
That's the brand of distorted crap Alia has heard for eight years. Alia, a woman fighting urges to "kill and rape and maim" receiving responses that
  • it's just OCD
  • it's normal to think that way
  • she's really a nice person
  • hold true to herself
  • find violent lolicon to further feed the fantasies
  • find a little girl to love
But if she does act out and hurts a child........then it's the fault of people who don't want her to molest their children.

So I ask you - if it were legal for adults to have sex with children, what do you think Alia Loren Jacobson would do?
"....I guess i have always sympathized too much with people who commit horrendous crimes because every so often i myself have to sit down and solemnly swear to myself that i will never murder anyone."

High-sounding rhetoric

Monday, March 09, 2009

Michael Melsheimer aka Lek is a sex offender and a pedophile activist member of BoyChat. He runs the website B4U-Act along with his pedophile activist BoyChat friend Richard Kramer. At one point Jon Schillaci aka Dylan Thomas acted as Michael's webmaster. Richard Kramer runs the website MHAMic ("Male Homosexual Attraction to Minors Information Center") which is an attempt to "educate" people that child sexual abuse isn't harmful. B4U-Act has partnered up with Reformsexoffenderlaws.org

On July 7, 2007 Richard Kramer posted to BoyChat
Some of you have probably heard of the "Call to Safeguard our Children and our Liberties," a 1999 effort in Boston to fight against the demonization of sex offenders and the curtailment of civil liberties for people accused of sex crimes. The original group included some important peace activists, journalists, and academics.
On July 10, 2007 Paul Shannon had his article published on CounterPunch - An Urgent Call to Support the Well-being of Children and the Rights of Us All
In 1999, a group of us in Boston -- prominent political activists, civil libertarians, and workers in the mental health and legal systems, as well as teachers and others who work with children -- tried to draw public attention to this threat with a "Call to Safeguard our Children and Our Liberties."

The lives of many thousands of people have been unfairly ruined. And we have created a despised under-class labeled "sex offenders". All of these developments are justified under the high-sounding rhetoric of "protecting our children from sexual predators" despite the fact that most registered sex offenders have never committed sexual offenses against minors.
In 1999, a group of us in Boston.........

On August 13, 2007 Paul Shannon was interviewed by Daniel Tsang (we spoke of Here)

June 29, 1998 Here
Last year, the brutal rape and murder of a young boy in Cambridge triggered a wave of indignation which targeted all 'pedophiles.' Supporters of the death penalty in Massachusetts used this case and almost prevailed. There were calls in public meetings to "find and kill all the pedophiles." Cardinal Bernard Law was quoted a saying, "This is the closest thing I've seen to a lynch mob since my days in Mississippi."
December 13, 2002

Cardinal Bernard Law was forced to resign in shame after it was revealed that he had covered up for child molesting priests and in fact had enabled their continued abuse of children by simply shuffling them from parish to parish for decades. Paul Shanley and John Geoghan are two of the priests who molested kids while the Church and Cardinal Law simply looked away.

A discussion group of about twenty people formed, hosted unofficially by a non-governmental organization. Participants included women who are incest and sex abuse survivors, boy-lovers, anti-censorship and civil liberties activists, feminists, gay and lesbian people, health-care workers, church activists, peace and social justice activists, academics, and those who work with prisoners.

We have met regularly for six months, sometimes almost as a kind of group therapy or consciousness-raising session, dealing with deep and justified angers and emotions. We continue to hold a wide range of views about children's sexuality and certainly about intergenerational sex.

June 1998:
The real challenge is to support and expand programs for children and youth which develop caring, loving, thoughtful, whole human beings. Among these are day care, after-school care, sex positive sex education, and better training and pay for those who work with children.

The aim of all these programs should be to empower young people to learn to make their own decisions about their lives. Children and youth need to view themselves not as potential victims, but as part of a community which supports and nurtures them, encouraging them to speak up and act responsibly on their own beliefs.
July 10, 2007

* Children should be defined as persons under the age of puberty.

* Support broad sex education for children, and empower them to make their own decisions and stand up for their rights

July 10, 2007
Focusing on "saving" children from sexual molestation by strangers distracts us from far more serious forms of violence against children and young people. Most child abuse has nothing to do with sex. It is important to speak out against sexual harm, which has often remained hidden and denied within families and communities. However, non-sexual violence against children is at least as pervasive as sexual violence.
Sexual abuse has long remained hidden and denied within families and communities and churches. Define "far more serious abuse"? No one can define someone elses victimization for them. No one should imply that "While sexual abuse is despicable there are indeed things that are much worse in life. Most children do not die or become permanently disfigured as a result" as some people have. For any event we can usually find something somewhere that is worse. To deny the significance of abuse and attempt to minimize the effects on the victim by pointing elsewhere is wrong. It is always wrong.

"Focusing on "saving" children from sexual molestation by strangers distracts us". Focusing on denial and rationalization and minimization and helping child molesters get away with it, seems to be distracting some people from doing anything for anybody except feeding into the cognitive distortions of people who don't feel what they do is wrong nor should they be punished or restricted. The vast majority of sexual abuse is committed by someone known to the victim. This can be anyone from a family member to a teacher or a Boy Scout leader or a Little League coach, a neighbor or a priest.
Perhaps the key to this panic about sex offenders is that they are often assumed to have raped children. That is, "sex offender" is often equated with a violent "pedophile." The term pedophile itself has become a stereotype of a person who violently rapes young children. In fact, the vast majority of persons attracted to children are not violent
The vast majority of pedophiles are rarely physically violent. The destruction is far deeper and longer lasting than physical wounds. It's one of the things that sets sexual abuse apart from other crimes. The fact that they aren't usually violent is how they continue to fly under the radar, through manipulation and grooming of their victims and the victims family but also those in authority who cover up for them.

Carol Corgan
The offender is a priest. He is friendly, reassuring, comforting, respectful, respectable, professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, caring – a good man. He is in a position of trust, leadership, authority. He targets one or two or 20 victims – male or female, pre or post pubescent or adult. He cultivates the target, preparing her or him: he invites confidences, offers friendship, creates or joins social opportunities. He offers camping trips, dinners, picnics, family visits. When he feels trusted enough he commits the abuses, assaults, violations. He gains silence through smooth talk, explanations, persuasion, threats, promises of harm. He continues the abuse until the victim is no longer accessible or until exposure is threatened or imminent.

His bishop hears of the abuse – in a letter, in whispers, in person, clearly, emphatically, repeatedly. The bishop ignores it. He knows a scandal will erupt if the abuse is revealed. He blames the victim, is in denial, treats it as an aberration, believes treatment is the answer, is blinded by his friendship with the offender, is an offender himself.

The bishop leaves the priest right where he is. Or he moves the priest to a new parish, church, hospital, school, nursing home. And warns no one.

Weeks, months, years later – continuously – the same priest abuses again. And a victim speaks up, asks for help, tells his story. The priest is surprised and wounded that anyone would suspect or accuse him. The bishop says, "He said he never did that." "He promised not to do it again." "He got treatment." The latest victims are stunned to learn that the priest had a known history of abuse and was allowed to harm them. The previous victims are stunned to learn that the priest was given more opportunities to victimize. Weren’t they promised he would be removed from his priestly duties?

Then comes doubt, denial, recrimination, victim blaming. All heads swivel toward the victim. And the questions begin: Why believe his story? Her story? Their stories? After all, the victim was pre-pubescent at the time and has an unreliable memory. The victim was post-pubescent and probably wanted, enjoyed, sought out, provoked the abuse. The victim is male; this must be a homosexual encounter. The victim is female; she seduced him, she wanted it. The victims must want money; they make up these stories to get a piece of the pie. And always: Why did she wait? Why didn’t he tell when it happened? Why now? The victim knows the subtext: "You are a liar. Priests tell the truth."

Diocese after diocese writes check after check for settlements, church spokespeople say the victim was seductive, compliant, unreliable, negligent, complicit, greedy, a liar. Lest we forget: the wrongdoers pay to buy silence or to comply with court orders – not to acknowledge, compensate, apologize or make whole.

And the beat goes on. The institution makes gestures toward new policy, new procedures, new personnel. The victims become exhausted, and finally are silent, in agony over the public dissection of their private torment. After following the story for days, weeks, months, the media loses interest and moves on to something new. All is still. And in that silence, rape and sexual abuse continues.

Anywhere people seek help, sanctuary, direction, advice – anywhere someone with authority, status or resources is in a position to guide, direct, or aid – that is a place of vulnerability and access. That is a place where the young, aged, female, disabled, incarcerated, infirm, disenfranchised are targeted by a predator. And the predator who is lauded, promoted, hidden and protected by the institution he represents is the most dangerous among us. He can prey with impunity.

Because we do not believe victims, because we do not believe such a nice man could have done that, because we do not sustain long-term interest in the story, we turn away, tune out, move on. We do not demand exposure and accountability; we do not stop the sexual abuse and rape of women and children.

See Video

We have cooperated, collaborated and compromised with those in positions of power. We have waited, patiently and furiously for change. We have reached across chasms of doubt, mutual suspicion, anger and angst to create allies in every institution in this country. We have tolerated continued abuse and continuous denial of its prevalence and impact.

We have cajoled, pleaded, persuaded, argued and worked tirelessly to move every institution toward an understanding of rape. What it is. How it harms the victim. How it harms all of us. We are tired of being patient. We are tired of ignorance. We are tired of denial. We are tired of excuses and lip service. We are tired of defense of the indefensible. We are tired of stonewalling, victim-blaming, confidentiality agreements that protect institutions and silence victims. We are tired of institutions protecting themselves instead of the people they are there to serve. We are even tired of apologies.

We want action. Meaningful action. Action to end sexual violence.
How to safeguard children? Reformsexoffenderlaws.org calls for abolishing every single law imaginable and then somehow believe they can disguise that as "safeguarding children". They call for the abolition of age of consent laws and just like the pedophile activists groups they try to disguise it in "liberation of children". What they are calling for is the very things that helped to create the decades-long sexual abuse of children within the Catholic Church. We have to move forward not back in time. Hysteria and panic did not create this problem. People who have no respect for children created it.

Will he sing?

Jeffrey Brisson aka The Night Raven charged with more than 140 sex-related charges, including 38 counts of first-degree sexual assault was not!

Together the two were charged with assaulting at least 11 children, ages 3 months to 14 years old and possessing the equivalent of 42 80-gigabyte computers filled with child pornography.....including their own homemade videos of themselves having sex with children - over the course of years and years and years.

I wonder what the terms of Harold's deal were? They haven't been released yet. He has until January 28 to decide. Now personally I believe the only choice he should be allowed is between methods of execution. But I'm not the one offering a deal so HEY, at the very least I'll just bet he's asked to sing a song, don't you?

I just wonder how much information he's got. I just wonder how many people could go down over this. I just wonder how much information was stored in those computers of theirs.

Pedophiles don't exactly have childrens interests at heart. Otherwise I would imagine someone who just loved children would be grateful to Wikisposure. However, it's just business as usual. They'll post the news article on BoyChat, but won't allow them to say that Harold Spurling was one of their most respected pedo-members Aztram. Perhaps some of them are worried about the secrets he can tell. If so they'll surely not say it, instead we just hear the usual mumbo-jumbo distorted crap -- most of it sounds like it could have come right out of Sosen. Or a certain little podcast or two.

Zlurker, visiting from GirlChat. Who does this remind you of? The belief that the government has no right to tell parents they can't give permission for their children to have sex?
But, again, infants and toddlers are incapable of giving consent.

Though I am not very interested in infants, I dispute that. It is true for some "activities", but not for all "activities". I would also add that for some "activities", the parent's consent on behalf of the infant or toddler should be enough.
Toothless Bill Evans
the vast majority of cops are lying, bullying cunts who have no hesitation in "creating" their own evidence if they want to "get" someone.
The Dadbeater
They have no evidence against Spurling other than the statement of a 14 year old boy.

The raid was incited by extremist vigilantes who have a history of entrapment, deceit and potential fraud. The question is not whether the alleged acts are ethical. The question is whether they ever occurred.

We all have our private lives, but I hope this guy "Spurling" had the sense not to show his face on those videos if it was indeed him... I'm sure he's a really good guy.
slvrspun
I remember reading previously about this very suspiciously organised case and recall that an anonymous informant was mentioned, which could very well turn out to be bogus and could fatally damage the prosecution case against them. That would be very interesting indeed.

The law is not on your side in the United States, and it takes millions of dollars to even try to make it apply fairly to you.

Whatever. Fuck the U.S.A.

As an aside, I just had the most boy-filled week I can ever remember having in all my life this past week. This, after the filth told me I'd never be near a child again for the rest of my life after I was busted. HAHA. Last laugh is on me. Some of them were naked too. hehehe :)
As 2008 winds down I'd like to offer a huge HT to Wikisposure for their role in helping to get these two men off the streets and away from children. Let's have a little reminder here of how this all started over on the old boyloveblog. Pedophiles intentionally antagonizing and drawing attention to themselves. What did he think was going to happen? I'm sure Dylan Thomas, Jim Finn, Aztram et al are very grateful too. So for old times sake and all.......Be careful what you wish for guys.

“I think this hysteria regarding childhood sexuality rests firmly
on a general fear and hatred of sex itself.
Otherwise, why would people think sex isn't for children?”

Beyond the Bounds of Decency

Sunday, December 07, 2008

I seem to be having a little disagreement over on a news story. It seems that an RSO advocate, a demented woman going by the name Jan Fewell has decided to take it upon herself to look up people she feels could possibly be Romeo & Juliet cases on the sex offender registry, then look up the court records, obtain the victims name and call them on the phone to ask them if they were really sexually assaulted or not. Yes indeed, she's recruiting activists from the victim pool.

I am in shock. I am in shock not only that she did it, but she's defending it. She's defending it by trying to claim that I don't know the difference between a victim and a teenager who had consensual sex with their boyfriend. I'm claiming that she doesn't know if the person she calls is a victim or a teenager who had consensual sex with their boyfriend.

I have no more words in me for this type of behavior. This goes beyond anything I've ever witnessed in my life. It surpasses Cheryl Griffths claim that CSA victims are lower than the offender. That being said, I think we should bring back the voice of the victim. They are the reason we are here after all. THEY are the voices who matter the most.

This is the first voice that touched me. The one who inspired me, the one who helped me most to understand. Sometimes brutal - sometimes raw - sometimes poetic, it is the voice of so many children who don't have the ability even as adults to speak out about their experiences. It is the voice of a courageous woman, a hero. A woman often misunderstood by many but always honest with herself - and with us.

What kind of legacy will you leave behind?

I have the power and the goodness to overcome depression.
I have all it takes to be me and value my self.
I am valuable to myself which is all that really matters.
No one can take that away from me.

Child abuse did not steal my soul
God saved it.

They did however try to
and try to and try to and try to
All of them, who harvested the skin off my body
who stole the innocence I once was
supposed to be -as a little girl-
I was supposed to enjoy the world-and now-
my world is too young to be gray and frail and..... dying.
but it is
and
I can scream,
and
it won't stop
I can run far away,
and
it won't stop.

Life begins and ends.
You leave chunks behind when you die-
some bigger or smaller than others-
those chunks live on in all sorts of ways.
They can be people or a lover's memory or newspaper clippings.
Photographs, letters, an archive, or a family reunion.

Legacies of you.
Pieces of time remain- still frozen-
a laugh
a smile
a hug
a word
that you gave someone,
remains forever.

... like a scar.

And now for another voice. One I only came in contact with a few short months ago during the SOA fiasco. This one just as powerful but in a different sort of way. Violet tells you what it feels like and lets you work out your own conclusions. This voice is straight up "this is how it is". Two voices, each with the same message. Take your pick. They are both the voices of experience and no amount of denial or rationalization or minimization in the world will change these simple truths.

Here's the victim's chair, if you want one.

Yes, I'm a survivor of CSA. By several people. I've been in therapy off and on for almost 30 years. I'm a LOT better. However, here are things I will likely have to live with for the rest of my life.

1. There are pictures of me circulating, WHILE I was being abused. I don't know if they're on the internet yet, but they are out there, and I know this for a fact, since a) I was actually there (duh) when they were being taken, and b) I saw a copy of one over 10 years after it was taken. Take your pic off the registry? Take MINE out of the hands of the people who have them.

2. I have trust issues, because 2 of the people I was abused by were people I loved. I am in a very healthy relationship, and have been for some time, but we have had to have lots of very deep talks, and he knows that the slightest change in his behavior can trigger me. Luckily, since I have had therapy, and am with a man who adores me and tries his very best to understand me, I can quickly say "back off" and we both know what this means. It means that I am afraid that he is going to turn into "the monster," the same way my abusers would turn from being what they were in public situations to what they really were, behind closed doors. That's not likely to go away. Ever.

3. There are certain physical characteristics of two of my abusers that were the same, and will trigger me if I encounter them. I have gone through extensive treatment to try to defeat this, such as desensitization therapy, to no avail. Over 30 years later, a certain physical characteristic I see in someone can make me have to go literally vomit in the bathroom (if I can make it that far). That makes it hard to even go to the grocery store, etc. Yeah, RSOs have it rough.

4. I still have to see one of my abusers at funerals, and such. I remember at the last one, thinking, well, shit, if SHE would just die, that would be the last funeral I'd have to be physically ill at (not hers, the one BEFORE hers).

5. I worry every single day about the children of my abusers. They were never remorseful. It makes me wonder, and it makes me worry.

6. I've seen one person, in my whole life, who seems remorseful about this, and that is Met. I've never seen it before or after. I don't have nearly the guilt about this as I used to, but it's still there, and when I see RSOs blame their victims over and over, I worry about the thousands of victims in this world who have to read that crap, and have their guilty feelings reinforced. For most of us, it doesn't matter how many times we're told "It's not your fault," it's an emotion, and it's not a logical ideal that we can just get on board with.

7. Just the names. All 5 have very common names. Every time I hear the names, it echoes through my head over and over, and I have to do some very active and purposeful chanting in my head to get it to stop.

8. I still have problems with food and sleep. One of my abusers brainwashed me by giving me only the amount of food and sleep I needed to stay alive. My stomach was never full, and I was always tired. Nowdays, try to interrupt me when I'm eating or sleeping and I become FURIOUS. Luckily, through counseling, I can swallow that fury and not lash out at innocent people who have no idea what they've done, but the fury is still there, and it is anything but pleasant.

9. For years and years, I equated love with sex. You can imagine where that led me in my teen years, and older. That's getting a lot better, but that, in itself, is a life sentence for most of us, and has caused many deaths due to risky behavior because of that equation.

10. See this list? Another list of 10. Why's that? Well, when you are not in control of your life and are being abused for a long period of your childhood, you overcompensate in other ways.

So, there's just a part of my life. I figure I have another 40 years left to keep working on it, and you guys love to scream "YOU NEED HELP!" Well, yes, I still need help, and I've gotten help. Unlike some of you would like to believe, we don't just go to a therapist for a little while, get our certification, and then just go about our lives as if nothing ever happened.

Why should you be able to?
