Teacher gets off with no jail time

No jail time.
No sex offender registry.
Just a loss of her license, community service, probation, and a $1,000.00 fine.

That's what you get in Butler County, Ohio if you're name is Angela Johnson, and you've just pled guilty to a felony charge of attempted sexual battery.

This case hits a little close to home for me, because my Mom works with the teacher at the center of this case. Yes- Angela Johnson was a high school teacher. This married mother of a young child tried over a period of months to entice a senior boy at the school to have sexual relations with her. She even sent him some "used" panties as a Christmas present. But, because she pled guilty, she's getting out of any jail time, nor does she have to register as a sex offender. WTF?

I don't get it.
I just don't get it.... and I'm betting that if this was a male teacher seducing a female student, the outcome would have been much different. I don't care if you are male or female, if you are an adult and entice a child into sexual acts- you should be treated harshly, and treated the same. Your GENDER shouldn't matter. Your ACTIONS are what matters.
