A Bloomington man who admitted being in a videotape in which a heavily sedated child is molested may have abused as many as 10 others and used a playroom equipped with a camera to lure children, federal and local law-enforcement officials said Tuesday.

Earl Venton Buchanan, 62, was arrested July 3 after crossing the border from Mexico with a 5-year-old boy and a videotape of himself molesting a child, authorities said. Investigators later searched his residence, a warehouse with living quarters inside, on about 5 acres in the 11200 block of Tamarind Avenue.
Inside was a children's playroom with a videogame console, TV, bunk beds, toys and children's movies, according to a search-warrant affidavit.
"The sinister side about that was that room was completely wired for video, as was Mr. Buchanan's bedroom," said Mike Unzueta, special agent in charge of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in San Diego.
