Robert is a member of Sosen. He's a troubled man from his own account. He is a pedophile who has molested many children though it was never discovered by authorities.

Robert29 was busted for possession of child pornography on his laptop while crossing the border into Canada and is now a registered sex offender who struggles with his desires for children to the point he recently considered castration as an option. He said:

Clearly this was a desperate cry for help, but what's even more alarming is the lack of response or concern he received. Some of his many statements he's made while at Sosen include:

And yet, interestingly enough, when someone did report him to the authorities, he came back to tell them about it and to admit that no, he had not registered all his email addresses. His responses from the old-timer Sosenites i.e. Rod Wagner and Zman were to tell him not to ever let the authorities search his computer again. Only one voice, a new one spoke up to say:

Every time someone reoffends it hurts our cause, not to mention another victim. I hope that you have no anger towards those who "told". Since you are innocent (and even if you weren't), I hope you are grateful to those people who cared enough to say something. At first I was like, gee, you can't talk on this forum without someone telling on you, but then I realized that that is a prison mentality. If someone on this forum prevents a new victim by ratting me out, then that is great. Do it anonymously, but just do something to help us stay straight. And if there are moles on our website who are doing the telling, as long as it is a legit "concern" then I wouldn't be mad at them either. They are trying to stop someone from being a victim at our hands and that is a good thing no matter who it comes from.

Why was the CEO pretend 'child advocate' not addressing this herself? I suppose it's because Sosen is not a 'support and education' network. It is an activist group. Their mission is to change laws. Linda Pehrson:

Successful activists know and understand that in order to bring about change......whatever it may be, you must first change society's opinion of whatever the topic is. Robert even further clarified for them what he meant and states that since he's been caught he wouldn't do it again for two reasons, neither of which have any recognition of damage to his victims.

Robert got a few responses. Derek told him "Could've should've would've", Zman plead the fifth, and nkrso told Robert that he didn't even HAVE a victim at all, it was only child porn that's all. One voice, so different than the usual Sosen mumbo-jumbo interjected... Static. He encouraged Robert to bring this up in treatment and although the precedent had already been set in Sosen for how these things would be handled - 'ignore it or delete it' - he didn't follow normal procedure and let nkrso's statement slide. No he addressed it. As it should be:

Nkrso- It's easy to say that when someone "merely" views CP, they aren't victimizing anyone. But, the truth is that the child is actually being victimized all over again every time the CP is viewed. Your opinion on this is something you definitely want to discuss with your therapist. If you have a good one, he/she will show you how seeing CP that way is actually just minimizing abusive behavior. I'm not picking on you- everyone is at different points on the "treatment path" and I'm just trying to point you in the right direction. It's thoughts like that that make it easier to start down the path toward re-offense.

That was the voice of a man who Derek said never "fit in" at Sosen. Derek is beside himself simply because Static has chosen to voice his opinion here as though there is some vast conspiracy in the works. And yet, I'm gonna play nice and be perfectly honest here. "Static and Stitches" aren't in cahoots. He's simply a man here stating his views, and I'm simply a woman who is listening, sometimes agreeing and perhaps sometimes not. But there's one thing about it, he's not bashing victims of crimes, he's not minimizing or denying on their behalf and he's certainly not whining and moaning about imaginary Nazi's.

He's simply trying to help RSO's in the way that he believes will be most effective. The difference in his way and Derek's way, or Linda's, Tiki's, Tmax or Tom's is that their way has been done for years and it's never gotten them anywhere. Trying to keep non-offending victims or their advocates out of their forum is a sure fire way to assure they'll stay in there, long after they've been bored to tears. It's time to clean up the House of Sosen. It's time to clean up the 'art of RSO advocacy'. It can and will be done or else Sosen will cease to exist. Personally I think it's too late but you never know, maybe someone will wake them up before it's too late.

It seems to me she's ineffectively combined two separate arguments and tried to make them one. Either most child sex crimes are committed by family members and acquaintances OR they are mostly committed by strangers. Donna can't have it both ways.

If they are committed by strangers then it's the parents fault. If they are committed by someone the victim knows then it's whose fault? Oh yes, the parents. Since we know for a fact that the vast majority of child sexual abuse is committed by someone known to the victim I fail to see how Donna's argument that MOST child sexual abuse is due to negligence on the part of the parent is a logical argument. We know there are many bad parents in this world, just like there are many scumbags of all sorts. Many times however it is not necessarily neglect on the part of the parent. We know these things without saying them......people like Donna don't. She's looking for a scapegoat. Did you see her mention once the responsibility of the people who actually commit the crimes? No, but you see her minimizing on their behalf. Why would that be? Why would she take away ALL responsibility for the actions of the offender?

Perhaps it's to defend her husband attempting to abduct a child, why he just couldn't have done that if the parents had been with her at that school now could he? See? It's not his fault.

It's time parents start being parents and watching their children. What exactly would you do differently if you knew a sex offender were in your neighborhood?? Watch your child better?? Why not watch them better NOW???

How do you watch your children BETTER if it's close acquaintances known and trusted by the victim who are committing the crimes? Perhaps it would be better to KNOW that the guy next door raped a 6 year old child 10 years ago when their child wants your child to have a slumber party at their house? ....... or when he agrees to walk your child to school for you? After all Donna did say it was best to trust someone to watch out for your child when you couldn't be there.........in the same breath she says most sex abuse is committed by someone known to the victim...........and using a stranger danger argument. It makes your head spin. We can't know ahead of time who will do these atrocious things, but we can use what information we have to give us clues of who definitely not to get close to. Most child sexual abuse is not due to abductions. Most child sexual abuse is not necessarily violent. Most child sexual abuse causes severe damage due to the psychological harm it causes the victim.

A frequent blame gamer argument is that they are reformed and no more likely to commit a crime than anyone else. And yet when someone believes them and trusts them and they betray that trust and molests a child, the blame gamers say it's the parents fault. This happened recently with the Dylan Thomas story, he convinced a family he was reformed after spending ten years in prison and all he wanted was a second chance and to finish his doctorate. They offered him that chance..........they believed him. He repaid them by molesting their 5 year old son. Tsand said it was the parents fault.

The fact of the matter is that it's no one's fault but the perpetrator. Personally I think it's quite stupid to believe them when they say they'd never do it again. I don't believe in gambling with children to find out. On the other hand though, no one forces these freaks to molest children. They CHOOSE to do it. Enablers don't recognize that, they minimize and rationalize on behalf of men who have committed serious crimes while making derogatory statements about their victims recovery.

I've come to know many victims of child sexual abuse through the work that I do, and I've yet to meet a weak "snot nosed teary eyed" one. They are strong, they are courageous and they stare little shits like the bug in the face and say "fuck you, you're enabling pedophiles with your rhetoric."

Tiki laughed at a friend who didn't feel comfortable putting her little girl on a church bus with only a male driver on board. She said she was hysterical. And yet if the woman HAD done that and her child was molested the bugthang would have blamed the mother for being negligent. "She should have known better". Since Mary is all about "prevention" then she would know one of the main things you do to protect your children is to limit their contact with adults when there is no one else around.

I'm sure she would agree with Donna's philosophy, that it's always someone else's fault besides the actual abuser, and no one needs to know that they have a propensity to sexually assault others. They both signed the Reform Sex Offender Law Campaign, meant to abolish the registry, the death penalty, civil commmitment and life imprisonment in addition to age of consent laws which Tikibug has stated explicitly that she supports. Why?

Why is Donna out telling people THIS:

I am standing proudly by my husband and supporting him in his recovery process.... HE NEVER had a charge on a child plus, his crime was over 20 years ago when he was very young and high on drugs.

Its about time society realize that children are in more danger of being killed by a drunk driver and drugs than by a sex offender. Reality is, too many children are left unattended by their parents and when something bad happens they want to blame everyone else without taking responsibility for their negligence.

A drug deal can go happen ANYPLACE, including a drug free school zone! Aren't you worried that your child will be given a drug or perhaps shot in the crossfire of a drug deal gone bad? Maybe we should post pictures of parents who neglect their children instead.

Fact is the highest percentage of sex crimes are done by someone the child or family know and trust. Most often within the childs own home by a family member.

Realistically, IF a child is being watched and not left unattended the chances of any criminal activity happening to them would drop to an ALMOST non existent level. However, the majority of people don't take the time to watch their own children

Why would Donna say these things? Why would she say not to worry because strangers don't abuse your children then claim it's mostly by strangers due to parental neglect? It's because she's merely repeating mantra's and she lacks understanding of what she's saying. This is a woman, just like Tikibug, who is so deep into the denial process that she doesn't even realize what she's said. Not only can she not organize her thoughts properly, or the facts but she doesn't even understand those who speak out against her. Tikibug and her "circle" as she calls them believe we are attacking her son and no matter how many ways you explain it they will not ever understand because they are all so mentally disturbed. Here's a quick fact AGAIN, What I have to say about Tikibug has nothing to do with her son. I do not blame her for fighting for him one bit, what I have a problem with is her fighting for and associating with pedophiles and unrepentant, unremorseful, violent, distorted sex offenders who are USING and exploiting her and she's not only allowed it, she's fighting for them tooth and nail.

Linda Pehrson claims she doesn't fight for pedophiles and yet she ignores members of her own forum who are obviously on the verge of hurting someone and then tops it all off by naming Walter Howard as her webmaster. WTF was she thinking?

These women, who Walter and Kevin believe will save them all, are women who all claim to have been victims as children and yet show no compassion or understanding of the lifelong problems from psychological abuse that many victims may have. I wonder if they are so quick to defend those who sexually assault others because of their own psychological damage. Who knows? What I DO know is that Donna's husband is someone who is the epitome of the reason for the registry. He IS the one who should be on a registry. She can't argue her case by telling the truth. So she points to imperfect parents, and she points to public urinators and Romeo and Juliet cases. But she doesn't tell you that her husband broke into a womans home and raped her in the night, that he attempted to do that to two other women and spent 15 years in prison for it. And she sure doesn't tell you that he was released from prison on July 26, 2004 and on July 19, 2005 he tried to pick up a 9 year old child outside an elementary school.

It just wouldn't fit with the blame gamers plan would it?

This is Emma. She turned to drugs to "make her forget and dull the pain", she eventually committed suicide in January of this year after ten years of therapy. Her sister Katherine turned to alcohol and now needs 24-hour care after being hit by a car.

"We are still grieving over our daughters, and many other victims are struggling every day. To think this issue is over when the abuse stops is ridiculous. There are people self-harming, committing suicide, drinking, using drugs, because of sexual assaults committed by Catholic priests.

There are no old wounds for victims. It is always current."

The Fosters are planning to make a statement upon the Pope's arrival in Australia. Mr. Foster says:

"I expect the Pope and Cardinal Pell to respond to that statement.

I should not have to try to see them.

They should be coming to us to beg our forgiveness."

And so who is Cardinal Pell? Well, he is the scumbag who was handling the sex abuse claims on behalf of the Catholic Church. He told one victim "Well it's your word against his!" And yet now.......today, he says it was an innocent error on his part after his letters and phone calls were revealed on TV. He's even gone so far as to cover-up abuse that HE WAS AWARE OF and has now threatened another sexual abuse survivor in order to keep him quiet.

The Catholic Church is not capable of cleaning up it's act, as long as they are doing it from within. It's sort of like asking Sosen to clean up it's own act. Perhaps the Bishop, the Cardinal and the Pope could join Sosen and lend them their support. After all, they both think survivors of sexual assault are "professional victims" and after all..........Linda Pehrson, the CEO of Sosen would proudly educate the Church, why she'd be happy to. She could just say her usual,

Absolute Zero has been focusing heavily on RSO activists for the past 9 months. And while I think it's obvious to everyone here just exactly how devious and heartless those people are, there may be a question as to just what exactly that may have to do with an anti-pedophile blog.

In RSO activism and pedophile activism?

If there is, I've yet to find it. Their rhetoric is the same as the pedophile activists - the only difference is that the RSOs try to put disclaimers on theirs by stating "We don't support pedophiles!" while supporting pedophiles.

As if no one would notice.

The CEO of Sosen for example signed that pro-pedophile petition which called for the abolishment of virtually all restrictions and punishments regarding sex offenders AND calls for the abolishment of age of consent laws for prepubescent children. When confronted with this Sosen claimed ignorance and the woefully stupid statement that "there are no pedophiles in our group". Apparently they believe that because they can't see them they don't exist -- And yet, they can't see ME -- does that mean I also don't exist?

What it all boils down to is this... those people will say ANYthing whether or not it's true, whether or not they believe it. They will stab their own supporters in the back to get what they want. When all is said and done they have a "ME ME ME" mentality. So while they do understand that they need each other they would be more than willing to throw their brother under the train if it suited their purpose at the time. They react thoughtlessly, and impulsively and if they are ever sorry for one second for something they've done, they would never admit it, they would never express remorse. Jan Kruska is a fine example of this one. She's done more to hurt sex offender groups than any other single person or group of persons combined.

There are approximately 600,000 registered sex offenders in this country. Of those there are only a handful that are activists. Of the activists there are only a handful that are sex offenders. Why is that? Because they have their enablers doing the dirty work for them. These co-dependent mousy women whose lives depend on 'standing by their men' whether it's their spouse or their child, they will rationalize for them. Minimize their crime. Blame the victim. Bash the victim. Mock the victim. They'll lie, they'll cheat, they'll even steal. They'll try to find ways to rip off the system, and the taxpayers. They'll call you ugly names and accuse you of being ignorant and uneducated. They'll say you're a professional victim. Or in the case of Cheryl Griffiths, she'll just call you "disgusting" "scum sucking idiot" etc etc etc

So, no, not all activists are RSO's. Some are family members and some are in it for seemingly altruistic motives. Think Margie Slagle, Sarah Tofte, Niki Delson. Their thinking is just as distorted but without the same motivations present. It's no less dangerous, it's no less outrageous, and it's no less supportive of pedophile causes.

Sometimes these activists say things like "these sex offender laws should only apply to the ONE PERCENT of RSO's who are truly dangerous" The question that begs to be answered then is "who do they consider dangerous"? Obviously not those repeat offenders deemed at high risk of re-offense at Coalinga Hospital. After all, they rallied to get them released.....against the advice of experts. And where do they get that one percent figure? Well, they SAY that the majority of registered sex offenders were convicted for consensual sex, or for drunken mooning or for peeing behind a bush. Well that may or may not be true, but if it is, I've yet to see someone charged for peeing behind a bush and put on a sex offender registry. And if it HAS indeed happened, it's not one of THESE people we're discussing. No, their offenses are far worse than that.

This is what I think. I think they need to stop blaming society, the government, parents, and the victims for what they think is unfair and look to themselves and try to find what's missing.

Perhaps instead of blaming, minimizing, rationalizing, bashing, mocking, lying, cheating and deceiving they should tell Lee Lee to take care of her other children before they turn out the same way. Perhaps they should tell Linda that it's not appropriate for her to ask for donations considering her welfare fraud conviction. Perhaps they should tell Tikibug to stop posting on pedophile websites. Perhaps they should look long and hard at exactly who they are involved with and the projects they're undertaking on their behalf. Perhaps. And yet, perhaps is a word too big for these people. Perhaps has possibility. These gangs of thugs have none.

An Urgent Call to Support the Well-Being of Children and the Rights of Us All

1. Abolish all provisions of state and Federal sex offender registries that publicly shame offenders. There should be no internet or other public posting of the identity, photograph, address, workplace or personal information of any offender.......
   In cases of genuinely violent sex crimes, especially against young children, and with a specific finding of a likelihood to re-offend, registration may be required, but information will be shared only among police officials.........
   Strong penalties should be levied against police or others privy to the registration information who violate the privacy of the offenders



2. Abolish all life-time civil commitment for sex offenders who have completed prison sentences and/or parole and probation
   In cases of violent offenses and specific findings of a likelihood to re-offend, carefully constructed court hearings, with medical advice and full due process, should determine if the person may be further incarcerated, and then only for a short time and with regular review



3. Stop public vilification and demonization of sex offenders. Oppose the use in the media or by public officials of obviously pejorative language with regard to offenders. Use of the term "pedophile" should be extremely limited and accurate. Children should be defined as persons under the age of puberty.



4. De-criminalize all consensual sexual activities among teenagers. Stop all required sex offender registration for minors



5. Abolish all laws that provide the death penalty or life in prison without parole for sex offenders.



6. Support broad sex education for children, and empower them to make their own decisions and stand up for their rights



7. Provide accurate information and support valid research about sex offender characteristics and recidivism rates



8. Help sex offenders re-enter society by abolishing measures which make it difficult for them to find a place to live and a decent job. Encourage support groups for sex offenders, including help with finding housing, employment and effective treatment, before their release and afterward

The Common Thread

Once upon a time Jan Kruska wrote about what she felt the common thread was among children murdered by sexual deviants.

She believes it is because their parents are human and less than perfect.

Unlike her of course.

We've had a lot of things to say about that. I'm sure we'll have a lot more things to say in the future. But for today we're going to talk about a common thread and ask once again Who are these men?

These men that we've talked about (and occasionally women) have some very basic similarities. One of which is to claim that THEY aren't dangerous. It's not THEM. Their crimes should be exempt. Sure, they will admit that there are indeed people who do harm to children. They just deny that it's them. "Well sure, I did it", they'll say, followed quickly by "But it was just a mistake". Of course they would never, ever do it again because didn't you know that a DOJ recidivism study done over a period of 3 years PROVES that sex offenders don't have high recidivism rates?

Let's look at a few of these men closer. Here we have Johnny Ray Lee. He claimed that "statistically speaking, you as a parent are more likely to molest your own child than a registered sex offender is". Johnny said that very thing to a stranger at a buffet bar. It was part of his activism, you see. Of course, he also said "As a diagnosed pedophile who was chemically castrated, I can assure you it doesn't work. In order to stop a pedophile from re-offending you would also have to cut out his brains, cut off his tongue and cut off his hands."

That was a member of Sosen and Roar for Freedom, and also an avid supporter of SOclear and SOhopeful. He just received a 35 year prison sentence.

And what have we here? Why it's Christopher Smithson aka "Slavetoboys", the most recent pedohead to fall and the first conviction attributable to the Wikisposure project. Chris just received 6 years in prison.

Yes they all believe there should be no age of consent laws. Apparently they are ok with 4 year olds being sexually exploited. Yes, they want them to be able to make their own decisions regarding sex, you see. I'm not putting words in their mouths. Oh no. THEY are the ones who signed it.

Here we have another man we recently talked about. Jim Freeman, who was running an international pedophile ring and directly responsible for the sexual abuse of an untold number of children, 40 of which have been rescued as a result of Operation Achilles.

Jim Freeman was the c0-founder along with Tom Madison of SOhopeful. An organization presenting itself as a support network for RSO's and their loved ones, but whose primary goal was to abolish the punishments, penalties and restrictions that apply to those who sexually violate others.

How do Jim Freeman, Johnny Ray Lee and Christopher Smithson differ? They don't. They are all pedophiles. They were all 3 involved in the exploitation and sexual abuse of children.

All 3 are repeat sex offenders.

The Department of Justice reports a low recidivism rate over a period of 3 years post release from prison for new sex crimes. Longer, more thorough studies done over periods of up to 15-30 years reveal a much higher rate, with an average of 25% and some reports going as high as 60-70% for NEW sex crimes.

Even Sarah Tofte of the Human Rights Watch says that 25% of all sex offenders will reoffend within only 15 years. Sarah said she found that statistic striking. She uses that statistic to claim that RSO's aren't a danger to society.

I find that idiotic conclusion striking.

Currently in the state of Georgia, a state considered to have some of the strictest sex offender laws in the nation, out of over 15,000 RSO's there are only 39 registered sex offenders under the age of 20.

Four months ago in the state of Georgia there were only 70 RSO's under the age of 20.

The fact is that RSO activists are using teen issues to further their cause. They couldn't care less if same aged teenagers are allowed to legally have sex with each other. No, what these people want is to be able to have sex with these children themselves. Look at their histories, and look at their crimes.

I believe you too, will find it striking.

I suggest remaining vigilant. Keep your eyes and ears open to pedospeak and pedologic. Watch for media spin, watch for unethical journalists calling a CSA victim someone's "lover". Watch for those who call prostituted children "child prostitutes". And absolutely watch for those who victimize children and then refer to themselves as the "true victims" and the actual victim as a "professional victim who refuses to take responsibility for being abused"

Watch for people like Michael Gregg aka ZMan! who claims the little girl he exposed himself to should be jailed....and watch when Betty Price concurs.

Watch for someone claiming we do teenagers a disservice because in 1850 it was common to get married immediately after puberty....completely overlooking the fact that in 1850 -- slavery was legal, women could not vote, disease was rampant and the life expectancy was 39 years.. What significance does the AOC in 1850, 1620, 939 or 55 BC have to do with 2008? I sort of have a feeling that cave men didn't even HAVE an AOC of any sort, does that mean we should act like Neanderthals?

Watch for someone who claims our society is sexually repressed because the age of consent is only 9 in Yemen. Completely overlooking the fact that women in Yemen are beaten and battered into submission. Legally. Completely overlooking the fact that 96% of women in Yemen are sexually controlled by forced female genital mutilation.

Watch for someone who defends an 18 year old for having sex with a 14 year old, then when asked the question "Would you have done it if she had been 12?" the response being "Oh NO, absolutely not, there must be a 'line' somewhere" Completely overlooking the fact that there WAS a line and it was crossed.

All those things are known as spin. Those are things you need to watch out for. Spin is an unethical manipulation of factual information to make something appear to mean something that in reality it does not mean.

W.A.S.P. and the Columbus Ohio Rally

On December 1st I arrived to a weak opposition. There was approximately 30 (maybe 40 if they were lucky) people who attended SoClears rally. This includes the speakers. I didn't get to hear the speakers though. Even though I was right behind them I couldn't hear much at all except when the Rev. yelled "That is MY son". I guess SoClear didn't want to turn the speakers up so everyone could hear their message, just the small gathering of felons, I mean supporters, that were there.

There were NO legislators or polititians who were bored enough to attend their rally. Even the 16,316 registered sex offenders in Ohio didn't bother to accept SOSEN's personal invitation.

(Well, except for The Fallen One from Cincinnati. This convicted pedophile made it a point to make his presence known.)

There was news channel 4 (NBC), who did a small peice on the news but they must have felt that SoClears message wasn't that important to post it on the web.
The local newspaper the Columbus Dispatch ran an article (section B page 4... basically not important enough for at least sec. B pg1) that SoClear presented their views while ignoring Boo's from the protestors.

( I was the only person who was yelling by the way. I must have yelled a total of 5 times during the 3 hour borefest. I yelled "Cry Me A River, Sex Offender" )

The article presented Tom Madison as a liar when they couldn't find him on the registry. Wouldn't it have been nice to see that Tommy Boy likes teen girls plastered all over?

The reporter went on to say that the opposition showed little sympathy, and quoted a woman as saying that sex offenders should have no rights at all.

Then SOSEN members took it upon themselves to try to dig up information on this woman and plaster it all over the web. Were they hoping some crazy sex offender buddy would go after her? Way to go SOSEN! I've been in contact with this woman, and things don't look good for you! Can you say LAWSUIT?

This woman didn't even know your websites or groups even existed let alone contact you in the first place, yet you choose to attack her because of a comment in the newspaper. Now who is acting like a vigilante? I would like to thank SOSEN and Mike for the new WASP member!

There was also a rumor started that the only reason BACA was there was because they were "misrepresented" by WASP. Does this look like BACA doesn't want anything to do with me?

SoClear and SOSEN are deluding themselves if they think that lawmakers are going to take them serious. The entire organization consists of sexual abusers of children and their families (except for Ali... but she is on the wrong side of the fence if she wants to help her brother). This is not an offender therapy group. My husband falls into the "grooming" type of offense. Been there done that, bought the T shirt. It is not my job to worry in this group if an offender is lying to himself..That is between him and his therapist we are here to fight the insane hysteria and dracion SO laws. There are so many DIFFERENT types of sex offenses and sex offenders. I am not a clinician and neither are you.

So speaks Linda Pehrson, one of the speakers at the Columbus Ohio Rally. Linda's husband molested his step-daughter, Linda's daughter and when he was released from prison she brought him back into the home. She calls it "family reunification". This was not a spur of the moment molestation. A "situational offense" as the pedoheads call it. No, Charles groomed this child. Linda's daughter.

Now let's look at another speaker at the rally. Margie Slagle an Ohio attorney and representative of the Ohio Justice & Policy Center is taking issue with sex offender registry laws. Her first case in law school was to fight against residency restrictions placed upon her client Edward Dion Burge.

"He was not a child molester," Slagle said. "He had consensual sex with a woman who was not old enough to consent — and that was a crime."

"He's a great father," Slagle said. "He loves children. It's ridiculous to lump him in with as a child molester and as a threat to the community."

But the prosecutor tells us a different story. Gary Nasal says:

"Certainly he is a sexually oriented offender, and certainly, I would classify him as a child molester," Nasal said. "He did, in fact, groom this child and pursue her."

Margie should be very comfortable then in the company of Linda and Betty. Margie Slagle says:

"Hopefully we can help him and make this end," she said, "so he can go on and live his life."

Slagle will continue to fight against these laws and for a man she says she'd trust with her own children.

Now let's go back to Betty Price for a moment

FROM SOMEONE WHO KNOWS - Linda's husband may not be a predator. I don't see where said that he was. Their are different categories - Sexual Predator, Sex Offender, child molestor, Pedophile, Rapists, etc. You have know idea whether Linda protects her child or not. You have no idea what family boundaries they have set. I also was sexually abused as a child. Once at the age of 6 by my Aunt's Father in Law. Then again at age 11 by a cousin. I am not a victim. I am here to speak about my being a Survivor of Child Sexual Abuse at the age of 6 and 10. Both people were known to my family. The one when I was 6 was an elderly known by my family and the one at 10 was a cousin.

When I was 6 this man put me on his lap and stuck his hand down my pants while no one was in the room. I knew enough to know that it didn't feel right so I jumped off his lap and stayed right with my Mommy the rest of the day. I didn't tell because 44 years ago we were not told these things. My cousin, when I was 10, tried to rape me, but I fought and got away. Let's just say my foot hit the right spot. I still did not tell. Not only because I still didn't know it was against the law, but I didn't want to cause trouble within my family. I guess at ten I was old enough to know that it would cause family trouble.

I never felt like a victim, mainly because I had never heard the word I guess. As a matter of fact, I didn't even think about it until my little girls were growing up so I did know to watch them closely. The older one was abused while myself, my EX Mother-In-Law, and her Sister, who was the wife of the man were all in the kitchen and he got my oldest alone in the living room. This was on Thanksgiving Day. She did tell me about it, but I just made sure we stayed away from them. At that time, it wasn't all over the news and I still didn't know it was illegal. She and I are glad that we didn't know that because we would have not wanted him to go through what sex offenders and their families go through today. My daughter is also a Survivor. I told her she was strong enough to not let it hurt her and that God expected her to forgive Uncle ??.

I feel that I am a Survivor mainly because I was brought up in church my entire childhood. I was taught that God forgives his Children and that he expects his children to forgive others. I have forgiven my Abusers many years ago and my daughter has done the same thing. This is not something that is constantly on my mind. I rarely ever think about it, except when it comes to Speaking out in Public about the Treatment of Sex Offenders and their families that is totally undeserved. My Parents also taught me that once a person has Paid his debt to society, that all was forgiven and he had the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Today, that is for any criminal except sex offenders who have the lowest recidivism rate of all other crimes! We do need laws for Habitual Offenders, Sexual Predators, Violent Sexual Predators and Pedophiles as they are the most dangerous. If we took all but those off of the Registry, it would be so very much more manageable.

If you don't mind I would like to know if we have any Survivors or any Victims in the audience. If you don't mind and you are a victim, please raise your hand. If you are a Survivor and do not mind please raise your hand. (at this point I will have someone passing out our pamphlet to those who raise their hands).

Who is Sarah Tofte?

Or has her name been lost and overshadowed
by the name of the man who murdered her.

On January 8, 1981, Michael Morales strangled her with his belt until it broke. He then hit her in the head with a hammer 23 times, dragged her across a road face down and raped her, finishing off his work by stabbing her in the chest 4 times.

Terri was 17 years old.

For this Morales was sentenced to die. But Sarah Tofte, a "researcher" for Human Rights Watch argued that lethal injection was "cruel and unusual" punishment. Sarah as a student and prison activist once argued for reform. "My heart recoils within me; my compassion grows warm and tender."

I imagine with that mindset she would be very interested in reforming sex offender laws also. She identifies with the offender. She authored No Easy Answers: Sex Offender Laws in the US

This 146-page report is the first comprehensive study of US sex offender policies, their public safety impact, and the effect they have on former offenders and their families. During two years of investigation for this report, Human Rights Watch researchers conducted over 200 interviews with victims of sexual violence and their relatives, former offenders, law enforcement and government officials, treatment providers, researchers, and child safety advocates.

"Politicians didn't do their homework before enacting these sex offender laws. Instead they have perpetuated myths about sex offenders and failed to deal with the complex realities of sexual violence against children."


"Human Rights Watch is dedicated to protecting the human rights of people around the world.

Let's look at some of the recommendations made in this report and then we'll look at what kind of "homework" and research Sarah Tofte did in this "report" sponsored by Human Rights Watch.

Here's a sampling of recommendations:

• Accountability for those who search online databases should be ensured by requiring the database user to specify the purpose for the search, and to provide his or her name and zip code
  
• eliminate public access to online registries of sex offenders
• Congress should eliminate public access to the national sex offender registry
• Law enforcement officials should eliminate the use of posters, flyers, and other easily replicable materials to alert communities of the presence of a registered sex offender in their neighborhood
• Access to sex offender registries should be limited to law enforcement
• Former offenders should not be required to register with their schools or places of employment
• No offender who was under the age of 18 at the time of his or her offense should be required to register
• All provisions of the Adam Walsh Act that deal with state registration and community notification requirements should be repealed
• If Congress does not repeal the Adam Walsh Act requirements as they pertain to state registration and community notification, states should not adopt the Adam Walsh Act provisions to their registration and community notification laws
• Neither states nor localities should have residency restriction laws that apply to entire classes of former offenders

It sounds just like the petition to free sex offenders from accountability and abolish age of consent laws, doesn't it? We wrote about that here and here and the issue was wiki'd here.

So now let's look at her overwhelming evidence. And where she got it. Some of the people included Zman, Daniel Chenault, Johnny Ray Lee, Butch Brown and of course Linda Pehrson. We know Linda from her previous news interview "Just call me Susie" and her inclusion in the audio portion of Sarah's "report". You see, Linda's husband molested her daughter, after serving time in prison Linda let him come back into the home. Linda aka Amy says

I think my daughter’s very strong. I was a battered women’s counselor, for about eight years, and I’m about the strongest woman you’ll ever meet, so it’s not that I’m a weak woman, and I’m a standing by my man kind of gal, cause I’m not, I want to give my daughter all the tools and techniques she needs to empower her to get on with her life, I don’t want her to be a professional victim the rest of her life. I don’t want this to define her.

So Linda Pehrson is a woman who not only stayed with the man who did this to her child, his step-daughter, but advocates bringing children's abusers back into their home with the jazzed up term 'family reunification'. Is this where Sarah got her information?



We know that she wrote to Linda asking for very specific information. In other words she solicited the responses that she wanted. She asked for people who had been victims of vigilantism, she asked for people who were victims of 'restrictive laws', she asked for people who had notification cards. She focused on the states that had the most strict SOR guidelines. She knew the answers she wanted and that's what she set out to get.

This is not a 'study' this is mere journalism. Spin doctored to suit her purpose. She says that in researching this issue she interviewed "122 sex offenders and 90 of their loved ones......and a number of victims" I would like to know how many victims she interviewed .....that weren't also offenders.

It seems she put a lot of weight on the information she got from Linda Pehrson.

It's time that those of us in the position to, take a stand for victims, and demand that our leaders not only follow through on this, but continue to make improvements in the future.

The "Silent No More" rally information included in the following email is being sent all over the US, and posted on many websites, in hopes that sexual offenders, and their families will rally against the Bill- making a strong enough impact to prevent these measures from going through. This would be the rally that we hope to counter with our own supporters of the Bill.

Over the past few years, Registered Sex Offenders (RSOs) have had more and more of their basic human rights and freedoms taken from them. It doesn't appear that this process will stop any time soon. Recently, Ohio passed Senate Bill 10. If you haven't yet received your notification from Attorney General Mark Dann's office indicating your "tier" level, it's on its way. If you are at present classified as a low-level sex offender in Ohio, your new level under Senate Bill 10 could put you at a higher risk level, up to and including "Predator" or Level 3. This bill is going to seriously and negatively affect many Registered Sex Offenders and their families. Some RSOs, including people with a year or less left on their sentences, will have their registration requirements extended by this bill. For others, lifetime registration will become a reality. On December 1, 2007, Soclear Media Productions will sponsor an educational forum at the Statehouse in Columbus, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Registered Sex Offenders and their families are urged to attend this peaceful assembly. We want to show our legislators that we strongly support the rehabilitation of RSOs, and their reintegration into society as law-abiding, contributing members. Plan to attend and spend the day with us, as we endeavor to educate the public by replacing myth and gossip with truth and fact. This is our opportunity to show legislators and the public-at-large that constitutional protections and laws must apply equally to everyone.
