Child Molester Escapes During Lunch Break

Authorities are searching for a child molester who fled during a lunch break in his trial. Felipe Ocampo, 33, was on trial for aggravated sexual assault of a child. He was out on bond during the case. On Wednesday, during a lunch break in the trial, Ocampo took off.

Jurors still convicted Ocampo, and he was sentenced to 40 years in prison with a $10,000 fine. Investigators believe he is either hiding out in Pasadena or is on his way to Huiczucl, Guerrero, Mexico.

Ocampo is 5'10" tall, weighs 205 pounds, has black hair cut in a long burr, and brown eyes. His last known address is 1304 Glencrest Street in Pasadena.
Ocampo was on trial for sexually assaulting a family member over a period of five years, beginning when the child was 10 years old. He kept his victim quiet by threatening that she would be taken away from her family if she told anyone. The victim finally spoke up in October 2005 when she learned that one of Ocampo's brothers had begun sexually assaulting one of her young cousins.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the capture of Felipe Ocampo. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. All callers remain anonymous.

Gym Teacher Arrested for Alleged Abuse of 14 Year Old

(CBS) MISSION VIEJO Sheriff's officials announced Monday the arrest of a Mission Viejo Christian School gym teacher on suspicion of molesting a girl, 14.

Armando Lucero, 26, of Lake Forest was arrested last Wednesday, according to Jim Amormino of the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

"Investigators fear there may be other victims," he said. Lucero, who was released after posting $50,000 bail, is due in court next month, Amormino said.

Dutch Court OKs 'Pedophile' Political Party

A Dutch court refused Monday to ban a political party whose main goal is to lower the age of sexual consent from 16 to 12. The judge said it was the voters' right to judge the appeal of political parties.


The party has only three known members, one of whom was convicted of molesting an 11-year-old boy in 1987. Widely dubbed the "pedophile" party, it is unlikely ever to win a seat in parliament. The group would need around 60,000 votes, and pollsters estimate it would get fewer than 1,000.


Opponents had asked The Hague District Court to bar the party from registering for national elections in November, arguing that children have the right not to be confronted with the party's platform.


"Freedom of expression, freedom ... of association, including the freedom to set up a political party, can be seen as the basis for a democratic society," Judge H. Hofhuis said in his ruling.


"These freedoms give citizens the opportunity to, for example, use a political party to appeal for change to the constitution, law, or policy."


He noted that the PNVD party, the Dutch abbreviation of Brotherly Love, Freedom and Diversity, had not committed a crime, but was calling for a change in the law.


"It is the right of the voter to judge the appeal of political parties," he said.


The party sparked outrage when it proclaimed its existence in late May, but prosecutors declined to prosecute its members as a threat to public order.


"We expected this result," said party treasurer Ad van den Berg, 62. "We are not doing anything illegal so there is no reason to ban us."


Van den Berg was fined and given a suspended prison sentence for molesting an 11-year-old boy in 1987. After his background became known last month, he was chased from the trailer park where he lived in the city of Oostvoorne.


Anke de Wijn, an attorney representing the party's opponents, said the group was abusing Dutch tolerance.


"Victims feel hurt by the wish of pedophiles to make their desires known in public," De Wijn said. "There are few limitations on free speech, and that's good, but this group is making misuse of the privilege, to provoke."


The PNVD's known members were a president, a secretary and a treasurer, as required under Dutch law. In order to stand in elections scheduled for Nov. 22, it will have to submit a list of candidates and the signatures of at least 30 supporters to get on the ballot in any one of the country's 19 voting districts.


Ireen van Engelen of the Solace Foundation, which researches pedophilia, said the party likely would fail to register for the elections because pedophiles seek anonymity.


"They will never want to connect their name to the party and without the signatures they can't go in the elections," she said.

Well, well, well. Isn’t this convenient? The paedophiles are now claiming that the 90% non-paedophile child molester statistic didn’t come from the Lanning report at all. Rather, Jillium says:

The source for the 90% figure is 'Profile of a Pedophile,' (and Correctional Services of Canada + Australian Northern Territory Government and Police) not 'Child Molesters: A Behavioral Analysis.' Lanning's equivocal & inspecific language in the latter doesn't check.

Here’s my question. Are you making this statement out of ignorance because you haven’t even read the documents or are you, like the rest of your ‘community’, deliberately deceiving people? Let’s just have a look at these sources, shall we?

Now we have the Northern Territory report. Ashford references it this way in Wikipedia. Joint submission from the Northern Territory Government and Police, 9 March 1995, page 4. Cited in "Organised Criminal Paedophile Activity." 14.8% of the sample were assessed to be pedophiles.

And you said Finally, according to the Australian Northern Territory Government and Police, only 14% of extrafamilial offenders are paedosexuals. Lanning's unequivocal "especially," without citation, isn't worth shit.

What did the actual report say? At note 66:

It’s statistics since mid-1990 had shown 304 persons involved in known or suspected child sex offences. Of these 124 were related to the child. Of the remaining 180, only 45 (ie. 14.8% of the total) had “been identified as paedophiles or suspected paedophiles, with all the classic indicators.”

You paedophiles are attempting to give the appearance that 304 offenders were clinically assessed and that only 14.8% were paedophiles. This is not the case. No one was assessed! This is the number of child molesters that officers were able to identify immediately upon investigation as having the ‘classic indicators’.

There was no sample. There was no assessment.

The committee is extremely clear that all figures are estimates that cannot be substantiated. See for instance at 2.13

For example, a preferential molester detected sexually molesting a child may claim to be a situational child molester to avoid further investigation of his or her activities or to avoid admitting his or her true preference. If detected offending in an intra-family situation, other, possibly long-continuing, sexual offences against children outside the family may go undetected if it is accepted too readily that the offender is a situational molester.

A further problem is the location of willing research subjects, given the illegal nature of much paedophile activity.

And at 2.20-2.22 the Committee explains that a major problem in gathering statistical data is under-reporting and the fact that it is impossible to determine the number of unreported offences every year. At 2.22 the Committee gives the following reasons why this occurs:
-May be ‘street kids’ who submit to abuse in exchange for food and shelter.
-Distrust of police
-Some children may not view themselves as victims

And finally

Paedophiles are said to be adept at persuading or pressuring children into not complaining.

The statistics do not attempt to address the question of what proportion of the cases of child sexual abuse were committed by paedophiles or what proportion involved any organized paedophile activity. Often this information would not be known at the time the report was first made, and may not be known even following the degree of inquiry necessary to determine if the report is substantiated.

The committee also emphasizes the incomplete nature of reported information at 2.32

In putting these State and Territory figures together, allowance has to be made for the fact that they are merely estimates, very tentative ones in some cases, and that the methodology and definitions underlying them are not identical.

-The section on child molesters is relatively small when taken in context of the entire document.
-Reports on all types of sex offenders.
-Reports on alternative treatments for sex offenders NOT on different types of sex offenders.
-The figure 90% does not appear anywhere in this document.
-The figure 10% appears in the following contexts:

One recent study found that only 10% of rapists preferred violent sex
over mutually consenting relations.

Based on the most recent Canadian studies, estimated recidivism rates
for treated sex offenders fall in the vicinity of about 10%.

More importantly, their rate of recidivism was less than 10%.

So Lanning’s study was quoted like the Bible, now I’m being told his word ‘isn’t worth shit.’ We have now exposed the truth about these three references. Are you now going go find me three new ones? Tip: You can’t find something that doesn’t exist!

Anyone wondering why these paedophiles are so insistent on gathering, misquoting and lying about these studies and reports? For that, we’ll return to Lanning (2001) p. 59:

Collecting may also fulfill needs for validation. Many preferential sex offenders collect academic and scientific books and articles on the nature of their paraphilic preferences in an effort to understand and justify their own behavior. For the same reason pedophiles often collect and distribute articles and manuals written by pedophiles in which they attempt to justify and rationalize their behavior.

and in Lanning (1992) p.88:

Most preferential child molesters spend their entire lives attempting to convince themselves and others that they are not perverts. They try to convince themselves that they love and nurture children.

Angel Nazario, National Park Service Perv

Angel Nazario, 60 worked for the National Park Service, at the Gateway National Recreation Area in New York. He also seems to have a thing for 13 year old Mexican immigrants.

Nazario allegedly had sex with the girl almost every Saturday at his apartment between September 2004 and this past May. He also was accused of arranging for the victim to engage in sex acts with 10 other men, in his presence, at the motor lodge.

The Parks Department had no comment. I wonder why.

Scott David Uslan

Police had been investigating the relationship between a registered sex offender in Port St. Lucia Florida (see his sex offender registration page here) and a 17 year old girl for months. Sadly, once he began harassing the girl to the point that they were able to arrest him, he was allowed to post bail.
The story gets worse, as 42 year old Scott Uslan entered the cafe where the 17 year old worked three days after his bond was posted, and shot and killed Brittany Carleo.

"Unfortunately this mad man was not kept behind bars where apparently he should have been kept, and unfortunately we have a young girl who is now dead," Vega said.

Two other cafe employees escaped out the back.

Uslan had been obsessed with Carleo since she started dating his son two years ago, and the teen eventually sought a restraining order against him, family members said.

"If he couldn't have her, no one else could have her," her aunt, Barbara Martin, told The Tribune for Sunday's editions.

The only part of this story that isn't sad is the fact that Uslan then shot and killed himself. At least that part limits the state's ability to release him unto the public yet again.

Risk factors and warning signs

I got these from a pamphlet at my local military Family Services Center. These are some of the key risk factors and warning signs that one's children may be at risk of attack from child predators (however much they profess their 'love' of children).

-Single parent with young children.
-Desperate for outside help.
-Demanding work schedule.
-Habitual reliance on child care.
-Male friends that demonstrate an above average interest in one's children.
-Male friends that routinely arrange, or ask for, "alone time" with one's children.
-Male extended family members that demonstrate the above two factors.
-Female friends or extended family members that appear to be jealous of your children.
-One's child suddenly demonstrates dislike, or fear of a family friend.

These are "no brainers," but many may be in similar situations and not even have a clue that they are at risk. Parental vigilance is crucial. Supervise your kids, talk to your kids, and don't have absolute, blind faith in family friends. Your kids are right: There is such a thing as monsters; they're called pedophiles.

So I'm going to give you an example of pedophile logic. Rookie apparently has an anonymous commenter (no, it isn't me) who made the statement that pedophiles 'don't have the right to exist'. This is Rookie's response.......can anyone tell me what's wrong with this statement?

The Hezbollah organization that triggered the current confrontation in Israel's northern border is being called a terrorist organization because it's reported that they do not consider Israelis to have the right to exist. Mr Anonymous is saying that we "don't have a right to exist". That would make "anonymous" a terrorist, no?

Man Charged With Kidnapping, Molestation

SAN DIEGO (AP) - A man arrested after returning from Mexico with a 5-year-old boy on his lap was indicted Friday by a federal grand jury on charges of kidnapping, child molestation and trafficking in child pornography.

Earl Venton Buchanan was arrested July 3 after authorities stopped his van at the Calexico border crossing and said they found a videotape of a boy being molested.

Buchanan, 62, pleaded not guilty to child pornography charges last week in federal court in El Centro. He faces a maximum penalty of life in prison if convicted of all charges. He was jailed pending a Tuesday arraignment.

Buchanan's court-appointed lawyer, Stephen Peterson, didn't return a phone message Friday.

During a search of Buchanan's home in Bloomington, 60 miles east of Los Angeles, authorities found a warehouse on the property with a room that contained toys and bunk beds as well as video equipment, said Michael Unzueta, special agent in charge of investigations at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in San Diego.
