During our boycott against Amazon.com, we've talked briefly about some of the pro-pedophile books which are currently for sale at Amazon, but what type of sick individual writes books encouraging child abuse in the first place?First up we have Octaevius Altair AKA 'Viamund the Rake.' The Rake, was what originally drew our attention to Amazons careless disregard for the welfare of children, profiting off books which promote child abuse. Aside from also being a NAMBLA member, here's some of the things he's said on the internet:
"Children DO NOT need to be " protected " from sex - it is a natural thing with no morality apart from that which we choose to personally impart it -. "
"I am " OUT " as a same-gender oriented paedophile/ephebephile (Boylover) & it is this state that enables me to live a fulfilled & contented life. To embrace, accept & feel pride in our sexuality is something that we as BL's (BoyLovers) must do before we can hope to be accepted in return. I encourage all BL's to realize there is no SHAME in being what you are."Next, we have Bill Andriette, another NAMBLA member with a long history of involvement with pedophile activism (you can see Andriette in this video at 9:08). His "soft core" child pornography magazine "GAYME" was being sold on Amazon.com... yes that's right, it WAS being sold on Amazon - In a confusing act, it's still showing up in searches, but there's no longer an active link to a page with a product description.
Thirdly we have David Riegel, a pedophile activist who has written numerous books on the subject of pedophilia (many of which can be found on Amazon.com), all in an attempt try and "prove" that sex between adults and children is not harmful:

And where else would you find some of Geoffrey Leonards books?
It probably doesn't come as much of a surprise by now, but Amazon has listings for two of Geoffreys books here and here. They're both currently out of stock, but the fact remains - Amazon takes Leonards books seriously and if they could, would be prepared to sell them too.
What's interesting to note, is that Google Books was hosting a preview inside the book "Daddys Little Boy" (which we'd mentioned in our previous post). Within hours after contacting Google regarding this book, it was removed due to it's inappropriate content, yet Amazon.com still insists on selling it.
Amazon.com makes a portion of their earnings on their website, by selling space for companies to advertise their products - what we doubt these companies know, is that their advertisements are showing up on the same pages which sell pedophile books.
